“For the price I expected much more from this hotel. We got to the hotel maybe 30 minutes before check in and they allowed us to check in early which was nice. The room was lacking. The cleanliness was not the best. When we opened the door to the room, we were hit in the face with an overwhelming terrible smell. It smelled like an armpit or like somebody had spilled their bowl of curry all over and then it never got properly cleaned up. The smell was very strong and I cannot understate this. I immediately pulled out my phone and started searching reviews for this same issue and sure enough there are multiple reviews citing this problem. I'm not sure how I missed them while researching. Thankfully in another review I read that there is a small latch on the bottom of each window that when open lets air into the room. For our first couple days in the room we had the latch open the entire time and by the third day it started to smell a bit better after being aired out. This issue alone makes it that I would never ever recommend this hotel or stay there again. Other than the smell, the floors were not sufficiently cleaned. There were small crumbs and things that were visible. We also found a spider crawling on our luggage. The bathroom was small and the toilet was the worst toilet we had had at a hotel during our 2 weeks in Japan. The shower pressure wasn't good and the sprayers needed a cleaning as the water was shooting in multiple directions it wasn't supposed to because of likely buildup in the nozzle. It was also very noisy at nighttime. The good things: the location was great and so close to the train station. Tons of shopping nearby and nice restaurants. Overall I was disappointed that for a hotel at this price and with a great star rating had so much wrong with it. There are plenty of hotels to stay at in Tokyo. Don't choose this one.”

“I choose to stay here over other Tokyo locations because it was convenient (close by train to major tourist spots and close to my friend’s work and apartment). I also wanted to check it out since it is pet friendly and I might make a trip with my dog in the future. What a pleasant surprise this hotel was! Very spacious room (rare in Tokyo), great view of the park, loved the rooftop pool and the staff were all so nice and spoke English which was helpful. Will definitely stay here again the next time I come to Japan. Not only was the hotel great but the location of the hotel is awesome if you love plants. Cute courtyard area with lots of cafes, restaurants and little shops. Tons of people walk their dogs outside and it was so relaxing to sit and people watch. I also brought home some gifts for my dog from the pet shop nearby. I’m not surprised this area is getting more popular really loved it here. Will definitely come back in the future!”

“Had a really nice one night’s stay at the hotel. The room was really nice with a firm bed, great shower and bath, and a complimentary bottle of wine. Our neighbours came back after midnight and woke us up, but the staff were helpful when we called the front and next door quietened down soon after. We had breakfast included in the booking, but I was a little confused when they started explaining prices to us. Fortunately it wasn’t anything to worry about and we were able to order the omelette and tuna crepe breakfasts which were more than enough for us. My wife was able to request maternity and allergy provisions with no problems and the staff were very helpful.”

“I recently had the pleasure of staying in one of the hotel's rooms, and I couldn't be more impressed with the overall experience. From the moment I entered the room, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the tone for a memorable stay. The attention to detail in the room's design was evident, with a perfect balance of modern aesthetics and comfort. The furnishings were tasteful, and the color palette created a soothing ambiance. The bed was not only luxurious but also provided a restful night's sleep, thanks to the high-quality linens and pillows. The room's amenities were thoughtfully curated, catering to both relaxation and functionality. The inclusion of a well-stocked mini-bar, coffee maker, and complimentary toiletries added a touch of convenience. The attention to cleanliness and hygiene was exceptional, and housekeeping consistently maintained the room in impeccable condition throughout my stay. The panoramic view from my room was breathtaking, offering a picturesque scene of the surrounding city. The large windows allowed ample natural light, creating a bright and airy feel during the day. The blackout curtains were effective in ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction was reflected in the responsive and friendly staff. Any queries or requests were promptly addressed, and the level of service was consistently top-notch. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth, contributing to a hassle-free experience. In conclusion, my stay in this hotel room was nothing short of fantastic. The combination of comfort, cleanliness, and attentive service made it a standout experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a delightful and relaxing stay, and I look forward to returning in the future.”

“The facade and exterior as well as the neighborhood is great. If you want to be central to trains and enjoy serene and stunning views this neighborhood is it. The staff is super friendly but I had the worst sleep of a lifetime here. I am far from high maintenance and don’t want to take up this kind of space but please please upgrade your beds. It was the most tough time I have ever experienced at any hotel in a lifetime.”
