“We stayed in the exquisite Carlyle Suite which is beautifully appointed & an Art Deco lovers dream! Very welcoming staff, spacious suite, & really nice personal touches such as a handwritten welcome note with a bottle of red wine, & fruit …”

“I went to New York for the first time with my mother in July of 2023, my mother has several allergies and really strong asthma. We were looking for very clean hotels with no smells, (wood, paint, mold, etc.). We visited 15 hotels to see if their rooms smelled, since my mother would have asthma if they had any type of scent. We finally found The Wallace, no scents and extremely clean rooms. The staff is really helpful and welcoming and the neighborhood is very nice and peaceful, less touristy, which for us was better. If you or the person who you travel with is severely allergic I would 100% recommend this hotel.”

“Room: Pros:Nice room, clean enough, nice bathroom. Larger and more modern than I was seeing with other similarly priced properties. Comfortable bed Cons: The heat was unbearable to sleep in. Set it at 65 and never got below 74 and felt more like 84. Maintenance came up to duct tape the hot air vent. Very uncomfortable and hard to sleep. Service: Pros: Hotel front desk staff was nice. No lobby. And they answered the direct line when we had questions upon arrival Cons: Tried to use Cognac restaurant for breakfast. Waited 20 minutes at our table with no service even for water so left. Host said nothing. $25/day breakfast credit kind of useless Location: All pros here. Just outside the hustle and bustle of the main attractions - Times Square, Rockefeller etc... but in a nice city block with fewer retail establishments.”

“Loved our stay at the Surrey. Nice location near the park while being away from any loud and busy streets. Rooms were really nice and the rooftop bar is a cosy spot”

“Absolutely the coolest hotel EVER! What a glorious restoration, kept all the quirky touches that give the building its character while still having every modern convenience. The tub was amazing, actually the whole bathroom was a delight. The bar and bartenders were fantastic, loved the new restaurant as well. The only place we'll stay in NYC!”
