“Fabulous hotel! Service is really meeting exceptions for the standard and reputation. Celine from front desk as well as Victor the Concierge made our stay memorable. Rooms are comfortable and spacious, the breakfast are delicious and really offering a nice choice of options .. location is perfect for sightseeing or business which was my case. Restaurants close by, entertainment and shopping nearby too. The only minus would be the metro noise cutting off our sleep early morning when the room is on the street side. We may ask for another room but not the 234 next time! Thanks for an amazing stay”

“We had such a wonderful stay at San regis in Paris. Marie-Catherine in particular was so helpful in showing us around and helping us make arrangements. The hotel is a gorgeous mix of historic building with modern amenities, and the most comfortable bed we had all trip! They really did a great job in making our honeymoon special, with personal touches and extremely responsive service. We can’t wait to come back! As Americans, we were a bit nervous about European hotels, but this was perfect! There was a large, very comfy king sized bed, air conditioning that worked well during the heatwave (85 degrees F) and US outlets so we didn’t even need all of our converters! They made our stay so comfortable!”

“I had a horrible experience here. So many things went wrong. The manager and I had an initial conversation and she promised to look into it and get back to me, but she never did. First, my room was not ready at 3 pm as promised. I was put into a lower quality room and my rate was not adjusted for the downgrade. My room rate came with a complimentary upgrade dependent upon availability. I asked for the upgrade and was told that larger rooms were available, but I was not given the upgraded room. When I entered my room (small and dark), it had not been cleaned appropriately. I notified the front desk, but instead of cleaning the room or moving me, they brought me a tray of drinks and candies. Why this was meant to be compensation for a dirty room, I do not understand. I asked for an iron at 4 pm so I could iron my clothes for an event that night, but the iron was not delivered. When I came back from my event that night, exhausted and jet lagged, my electronic room key didn’t work and the front desk couldn’t get it to work either. They let me in with the passkey and told me to let the front desk know in the morning. After breakfast the next morning I spoke to the on-site manager who said she would relay my concerns to the hotel’s general manager. The general manager called me after a few days of my checkout (so clearly not a priority for her), I relayed my experiences, she said my experience was not really that horrible, but she would investigate and get back to me the next day or latest in 2 days. Over a week later, she has not responded. I would advise not to stay here as they clearly do not care about good service or guest comfort.”

“Our stay at Hotel Pont Royal was exceptional -- comfort, cleanliness, service and so importantly, an attitude care and accommodation to all of our needs and wishes. From delightful and welcoming breakfast service to housekeeping, the staff was graciously accommodating. I would also single out the generous and brilliant performance of the Concierge, Alexandra, who not only gave wise counsel and bookings for outstanding restaurants, but helped (far beyond the call of duty) to straighten out an airline reservation that would have had dire consequences if multi-lingual assistance (and patience) had not been provided. We will happily return.”

“This was my second time here and it's such an intruiging and intimate small hotel. The beds are super comfi and lots of nice vintage design elements. As I am light sensitive I loved the darker theme, very relaxing and cozy. Superbe breakfast experience even though the second time I just took a ´café/croissant' it was served with attention. Thanks so much, I had a lovely stay and will be back!”

It's in a great area of Paris but on a quiet street so there is very little noise. The room was incredibly comfortable and I slept very well. Breakfast was also plentiful and delicious. I'll definitely be staying again next time I'm in Paris.”

“This is absolutely by no means a 5 star hotel. We were thoroughly disappointed in our stay. We had the family suite which faced their “courtyard” which is all buildings and concrete. We were under the impression the rooms would be connecting but it’s 2 rooms in the corner of the hotel. We stayed 8 nights and had to ask daily to change our sheets and dirty towels! They would hang up dirty robes and towels that we placed on the floor! So disgusting. One day we returned to our room at 4:30 pm and the housekeeper was incredibly hostile and rude and told us to leave and she’s been busy cleaning 30 other rooms and to wait in the lobby & upon return our robes were gone and the room was half clean. Also one of our rooms smelled of sewage throughout the entire stay, it was horrific. The toilet malfunctioned and we called for a repair the guy that checks people in came up to fix it and made the smell worse. When you pay for a 5 star hotel there are certain standards, for example, someone to open the door when you enter the lobby, not once did they open the door & on occasion they would greet us. The concierge was very kind but useless. We asked for specific reservations and he could only make 1 and the 1 he made was at a restaurant known for Eiffel Tower views and he made the reservation downstairs instead of the terrace with a view so we didn’t even get to see the Eiffel Tower! The only staff that was kind and accommodating were the 2 gentlemen at the breakfast buffet. Would never ever stay here again.”
