“Plain and simple if you have the privilege and opportunity to stay here - you must. The staff was English competent and extremely attentive to the needs of my family. Luca at the concierge and his team were on top of everything. The food for breakfast and dinner were fantastic. The check in experience seamless. As another reviewer pointed out - the bar staff was also top notch and attentive. There was no better seat than on the terrace over looking the lake surrounded by beautifully manicured d grounds The Hotel is beautiful in and out and tasteful blends the modern requirements of todays travelers with the history and unique architecture of the building. The spa! The best spa I have ever been to. You can spend an entire day in the spa without any treatments and you may just finish all the different options it presents. And it is complimentary as a guest of the hotel. If I make it back to Lago di Como I will certainly call the Grand Hotel Victoria my home.”

I had the opportunity to take a bus to Lugano, a nearby city, and then returned to the hotel by ferry. The journey by ferry was a delightful experience, offering picturesque views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The Campione area is also worth exploring. It is known for its charming villages, scenic hiking trails, and vibrant local culture. I thoroughly enjoyed immersing myself in the beauty of the region, whether it was discovering hidden gems in the nearby villages or taking leisurely walks along the lakeside promenade. Overall, my trip to the Grand Hotel Campione was unforgettable. With its modern style, helpful staff, and tranquil surroundings, it provided the perfect retreat. The opportunity to explore the stunning Lake and the Campione area only added to the magic of my experience. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a memorable and rejuvenating getaway.”
