“Sui Hair Salon on Russell is definitely a premium experience. This is not where you go if you want a budget cut, though there is happy hour on Thursdays if you pay cash. The salon itself is decorated nicely, with leather seating, halogen lights and plenty of mirrors that give the salon a sense of space and luxe aesthetic. Reception is very lovely, I have been served by a pretty kind young lady every time. They take your coats and jumpers and stowe away any large bags in their cupboard behind the counter like concerge. For the $38 you will pay for a standard male cut, you get a pre and post hair wash included. This was supposed to be something that gave you a sense of being pampered or cared for but it is far from that. I have been going to Sui for almost a year and I usually get a girl who is very rough with your head and scalp. They get frustrated and move your head to a position that is convenient for them and God knows what they were saying about me in their native tongue to their colleague. The male I got on this visit was more gentle but was also so particular about how you had to sit and splashed my face and shirt a bit with the water. The highlight however and why I am giving Sui 4 stars regardless of the wash experience and price is Catherine. She is my stylist there at Sui and I am so pleased with her service delivery and talent. She is very sweet to talk to and she just handles your hair with finesse, care and total attention. She is very quick with her work and always sports a beautiful smile. Worth every cent I spend to get a haircut I don't have to worry about and know will look great by the end. In summary, I would recommend SUI to those that want hassle free hair cuts and treatment that don't mind spending a bit more than usual.”

“I came into the Bondi Junction Westfield Sephora store wanting to look at some perfume and when I picked up a bottle to smell it the glass bottle was shattered and cut my finger open, it immediately started bleeding, I told a staff member (Elle B) and asked for a Band-Aid but she was already seeming very dismissive and like we had put her out of her way to get a Band-Aid so my finger would stop bleeding. She went and grabbed me a Band-Aid and didn’t even say sorry or mention anything about the bottle. Then when she returned with the Band-Aid she said “here” and took the bottle off me still not apologising at all for the situation and walked off as if I had done something wrong. I usually have great experiences at Sephora and the staff are usually helpful but today I was extremely disgusted with the behaviour and dismissed by the staff”
