“Having eaten at this restaurant a handful of times over the years, I can firmly say that we won’t ever be returning. While the food was delightful and the setting near perfect, the absolutely horrible service ruined what could have been a lovely evening. Upon arrival, we were not offered the specific table we had booked and instead were offered arguably the worst table in the restaurant and were given glares and angry comments when we asked to move to a better situation. After being moved we were then given a surly waitress who seemed to either hate her job, or us (or both!) We had to remind the waitress of drinks that had been ordered and never delivered and waited for delayed delivery of bread and side dishes throughout. Through out our meal the space we were originally offered remained vacant and arguably the restaurant was not full. After arrival at 7:30, by the time we left at 9:30 no one had sat in the space. When we queried this with the maitre d’ we were told the reason for our bad service was because we had arrived not smiling, which is difficult when we arrived in masks! To top this all off, the group who managed to secure our original table seemed to have near perfect service and were eating food (lobster) that wasn’t even on the menu…”

“I was regularly visiting this place because I was staying in the hotel across the street and I was very happy to have found it. It’s a hangout place for locals and was fun to see the same faces everyday. it’s quiet and one can really enjoy dinner and chill all evening there. The food is great and I had fallen in love with the beef carpaccio. The burgers are amazing too! They once had this warm pear pie with chocolate chips and was fabulous but they only had it for one night. They do have different daily specials and also a fixed menu. The wait staff is way friendly and spoke English and I’m glad it was easy to communicate. Special shout to Edouard and Chloe for being very very friendly and accommodating and making the experience very nice. Highly recommended this place in Montparnasse.”

“Ample parking available. The locker rooms are clean. The gym is often full on the bodybuilding side, I've tried it almost at any time (7 a.m./10 a.m./1 p.m./4 p.m./8 p.m.) and you have to wait, except for the mats and the elliptical bike. It's a gym, no problem waiting BUT I gave up last week when the girls were filming themselves doing their exercises for over 20 minutes. Probably a few isolated cases. The machines are a little too tight, there is an area with machines behind the mats, which you cannot use because they are reserved for a "private lesson" with a coach. Except the rower: I have never seen anyone use these machines and yet it could avoid waiting with the machines next door which are taken. HS machines stored on the bodybuilding side, see just a word on the machine BUT I've been registered for 2 months now and it's still not fixed. According to some members with whom I have spoken, the group classes are good and my partner appreciated these classes before COVID. There is a pool area available only for lessons, and they provide a lesson schedule when you arrive. Moreover, even if you subscribe to a subscription for 30 euros, they will offer you options for one month, just to discover the range above, EXCEPT, that after two weeks, they collect 45 euros instead of 30, nice paid offer and since October 19, I still have not spoken on the phone, nor physically seen the manager who is the ONLY one who can make a commercial decision for a refund or a credit. Worse still: I'm coming to the room, he's on break, call in 1h30. OK, no worries. You call back (when the line is available) and I don't have the same person as in the room: I haven't seen him all day... Nice. The site's customer service does not contact you or follow up with you. But they did remove the options quickly. They send a satisfaction survey by email from customer service, when you put the note, error 503, nothing works. The manager had to contact me again, still nothing. I'm frankly mixed, with this problem of sampling, and "drowning of fish", for the basic offer, it's 3 stars, with the courses and the follow-up I think the experience would be better.”
