“On vacation in Sicily from New York… it was on my bucket list to get a tattoo while on my trip, and I must say Blacktop far exceeded my expectations. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the shop was perfectly clean, I was offered espresso along with any other refreshments I may have needed, and of course the artwork/finished product is magnificent. My tattoo artist, Vero, was very gracious and made sure I was comfortable throughout the artwork – I couldn’t be happier with the finished product. The store owner, Gabriel, (I hope I spelled it right!) spoke near perfect English and was easy to tell how passionate he is about his work – he even gave us some recommendations for restaurants in the area! Highly recommend getting inked at Blacktop.”

“I went with my boyfriend, the place is very nice because it's intimate... in the end, despite being small, it has everything: two saunas, two Turkish baths, a tub with hydromassage and cervical, the gelidarium, the Kneipp path, the showers warm and fresh, ice, the relaxation area with sunbeds and the herbal tea area (very good). There are showers in the changing room which guarantee you privacy, there is shower detergent and a hairdryer. The lockers are quite spacious, the key is given at the entrance. However, I didn't like it when at the entrance they made you take a self-timer instead of an identity card to fill out the consent and responsibility form... so I found this method a bit strange, I saw it as a way to try to sign people up on the mailing list given that if one doesn't read well in a hurry, the option to receive emails is checked automatically by default...then some parts of the hydromassage didn't always work and so did a shower and one of the two steam rooms did not appear to have steam. But the place is nice, therefore 4 stars..😊”

“This place was one of the best in town to get a massage some years ago. Unfortunately this is not the case anymore, as I have just had one of the worst in my life. Basically she just spread a lot if oil (maybe too much) all over my body, this is not what I would call a massage…and what I could have done on my own at home just cost me 50 euros. Nevertheless the place is still very beautiful and amazing to relax. I just wouldn‘t recommend the massage!”

They had me fill out a paper questionnaire to gain insight & knowledge of my massage needs. The young lady who massaged me absolutely professional, but had tiny hands, so her massage pressure was a bit weak, but still provided some relief; with continued practice & strength training, she will be better as time progresses. Other than that, I was able to receive a professional 50 minute massage for only €65. Totally worth it after International travel.”
