“I do like this place and I do believe it's a fair entry fee considering everything there is included with the fee. However, I'm sure everyone would agree the prices to buy anything here is way over priced from the tea to the vodka to the food. Me and my cousin got a 180$ bill just from 2 little bowls of soup, 5 tiny dumplings each , half a cucumber sliced with half a tomato, 1 pitcher of tea which is just boiled water with a couple tea bags and 4 shots of vodka. I suggest not buying anything here and only utilize your entry fee.”

“A holistic retreat. As we stepped into the shop we were transported into a zen surrounding with a beautiful aroma of lavender, serene sounds of nature with an array of charms, trinkets, & gemstones. We booked a private experience with a yoga instructor in the pink Himalayan salt cave to celebrate out girlfriend’s birthday and a relaxing mama’s day out. As we stepped into the room, the ground was covered in pink Himalayan salt and the air was infused with low vapors of the salt. The dry salt therapy is know to reduce stress, help decrease mental fatigue, reduce inflammation of tired muscles & help strengthen our immune system. The gentle salt waterfall at the far end of the room also let out saline vapors as it slowly cascades. We had a 45 minute session with Joyce, our yin yoga therapist & also sound healer, she was great. She came around to realign our positions while gently helping us feel a deeper stretch. This therapeutic experience was exactly what our bodies been craving. We left feeling relaxed, peaceful & a bit taller as we focused on our postures.”

“I came here for prenatal massages a few times. I wasn’t committed to any one masseuse and tried a few different people. The prenatal massage here is side lying supported with all the right pillows and bolsters. The masseuses were great and very professional. I had one male masseuse and he was very careful to explain each step. It was very appreciated. All the other masseuses had great technique and adjusted strength to how I was feeling and what I needed that particular day. They took care of all aches and pains during pregnancy and I highly recommend them!”

“QC NY Spa is a spa on the northern part of Governors Island overlooking the financial district. You buy packages for time and massages are extra, but they have multiple floors of different experiences. You start by getting ready in a locker room where you can store your stuff, then make your way through the amenities. They have almost 10 different sauna style experiences, as well as an aquatic level with a few water related experiences. Outside are heated pools with underwater music or massage chairs with great views of the city. The staff here are incredible, super nice and helpful. There are towels, scrubs, and directions scattered everywhere. They have food and drinks downstairs which are priced a bit high for the portion sizes, but things like the tiramasu are delicious. You can bring your phone around or even a book to read and relax, although I recommend leaving them behind while on the bottom aquatic level as it's very wet and steamy. Overall a great experience and the views from the pool alone are worth the money. Would definitely go again in the future.”

“This place was AMAZING. Gorgeous interior and little shop as well, I purchased a few soaps that smell and look amazing. I chose the 40 min bath soak, which was very relaxing, the tub was sunken and large, they do provide a stool to those who are shorter and dont want to float around (like me lol). They played soft music and the tubs heat is adjustable. The staff was very kind, and I had a great experience, the relaxation room was just beautiful. I would definitely visit again, and would like to get a massage and soak.”

On the day of my visit I actually had to move my appointment a bit earlier, and the manager was eager to accommodate my request. My massage was great and relaxing; you are provided with robes, slippers and towels, you can take a shower afterwards. I also found a small outdoor area which must be nice to use in spring. I'd recommend this place :)”

“WOW!!! What can I say that hasn't already been said by all these amazing reviews! I spoke with Liz (who was so warm and lovely on the first call) to book the couple's Staycation package for my 1 year marriage anniversary with my wife. In true Man fashion, I only called 2 weeks in advance, which for a place like this I was sure would be too short notice. But Liz and her team made it work and squeezed us into the schedule on our anniversary day. I was so excited leading up to the day of the experience, as it was a surprise to my wife as well. When we arrived Liz and her team (shout out to Alyssa, Jae, Sarah!) were so warm and welcoming, and explained how the experience works. It's important to note that my wife and I only get massages on vacations, which is barely once a year, and never really do anything in the realm of 'relaxing' experiences, so we were newbies to how this all worked. We were given comfy slippers and a tour of the facilities, which include rain showers, steam room, sauna, hot tub, cold plunge, hammock, lounge area, and a variety of hot/cold drinks (tea and infused water) and snacks (strawberries, nuts, etc). We spent the bulk of the first 2 hours enjoying the steam room and hot tub. We could only last in the sauna about 3-4 minutes! And then lounging in the sun on the nice wooden loungers. Instead of fully relaxing, we may have talked shop and work the whole time...oops. Liz said if that's what we find relaxing then it's ok (thanks for understanding, Liz!). We applied the clay mask to each other (very romantic) and wife pointed out how my non-use of sunscreen has been affecting my face. We had the whole place to ourselves and it felt like a private oasis. I was wondering if you'd feel strange being essentially in the backyard of a townhouse, but it felt so private and peaceful that it didn't bother me at all. When it came time for the hour-long hot stone massage, we took a quick rinse and laid under the pergola, ready for Liz and Sara's magic hands. They are STRONG! We both felt like jello after, having all our stress melted away (I think Sara called it 'steamrolled' which is hilarious). It lightly rained during the massage, and since the pergola was covered, we didn't get wet and the sounds were an amazing experience. All in all, a truly wonderful experience and I am so happy I found cityWell Brooklyn. Thank you from me and Tiff for being part of our special day. We will definitely be back before the next anniversary!”

I came to buy a powder, asked for a brush assistance of of the MUAs - you should hear the voice and arrogant reply of one of the assistants there, and that look she gave me over the mask. I had a feeling that assistants who work there hate their jobs and people in general. Left it with a great pleasure and will gladly never come back. You can find majority of the products they sell at Sephora where you’ll get a better attitude, respect and customer help at least.”

I went for a 90-Min combination massage yesterday and about an hour into the massage she sneezed on my bare back. I could feel the droplets land on me! I was so shocked! She made no attempt to apologize. It was disgusting! Then as I was leaving the $80 price went up to $88 because I was using a card. I didn’t protest this even though $8 processing fee is absurd. The last straw was when he told me the minimum tip was 20%! Tip is up ALWAYS up to the discretion of the customer. I was astonished and made him give a 15% tip instead of 20%. She was lucky to even receive that much. I won’t ever be back and do not recommend.”
