“Terrible customer service received when wrong item was sent. Hugely frustrating experience. Ordered 1kg boneless pork leg on website. It was to make a traditional roast pork New Year’s Day lunch. A badly chopped up box of pork arrived. Raised the issue on the website chat function and finally transferred to a ‘human’. This advisor insisted I had received exactly what I ordered and repeatedly trying to tell me I had ordered incorrectly I was asked for screenshots. I sent the screenshot which clearly showed I requested whole joint and he still called me a liar. He sent a screenshot of his printout which said ‘small’ (apparently that means chopped small). I explained that obviously the ordering system has a glitch as I could prove what I ordered and that’s what he asked. I was told there was nothing wrong with their system. I had made a mistake. Trying to rectify an issue with someone who evidently does not know various meat joints and how they are cooked is a frustrating experience. Explaining that you have trained as a chef so you do understand these joints and would never order chopped pork leg is a frustrating experience. Being repeatedly told you are lying is a frustrating experience. Spending 1 hour and 15 minutes on WhatsApp, numerous phone calls, holding on while a phone is passed around at least 4 people is a frustrating experience. Eventually having the meat exchanged for what was ordered only after threatening to come down in person and make a scene is a frustrating experience. When we went to cook we discovered it wasn’t actually boneless as ordered but had bone in which meant we had to butcher it and truss it (also we were charged for boneless). Guess what - that’s a frustrating experience!!! Never again will I shop here. They offer the worst ‘customer service’ experience.”

“It's the famous shop to buy raw or cooked chicken but now cooked items prices are so much high as per the quantity they offer for some items. I always get tender and fresh raw chicken or mutton or fish but in case if we don't get any item fresh you can tell the owner and he is courteous enough to change the items. Recently I ordered chicken malai tikka full quantity but got disappointed from their packaging and also from it quantity and quality. As per the prices they charged Rs 493 it wasn't worth. Packaging of chicken malai tikka was done in foil inside paper box which looked cheap and looks like they are on a mission of cost cutting. Forgot to click the photo of their packaging. Atmosphere - Premises is always neat and clean as the butchers keep their place neat and clean.”
