“The food was good but I think the cost effectiveness was just ok. The chef was friendly but because there was a local customer he clearly knows better it felt less than. The one rub I think for me was towards the end of the meal, the chef started to make fried rice for the local guest and then basically told our group and the our foreigner group that the meal was done. I was never given the option to even opt in for additional things. So clearly they were able to offer more supplementals but not for some guests. We visited other Kobe beef shops in the coming days. I think this was not the shop I would recommend. Try Rogama close by instead.”

“It was so delicious!!! Be sure to add 3 fried shrimp... If you eat a lot, add all the toppings... It's very spicy and delicious. It opens at 12 o'clock, so office workers around you also come for lunch, so you have to go by 11:20 to 30 to eat first time. Since it's a curry restaurant, the turnover rate is very high, so you don't have to wait that long.”

“I was invited by a good friend’s Birthday. This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had in the mountainous part of Kanazawa! The dining room is so busy as you need prior reservations before coming in. The steak course was amazing!! It’s also appetizingly good and delish! Best part though was the service of the chef who loves Bon Jovi’s music. He was fun to entertain us and he speaks conversational english as well. Highly recommended.”

“I was nervous to visit a public bath for the first time in Japan, but everything was smooth. This bath has instructions in English as well and other visitors ladies were helpful and nice showing me at some points what should I do. Entrance ticket 470 yen, and soap, towel and shampoo - 40 yen each. But I would recommend to bring your own towel, as the rented one is very small. Don’t need slippers, or a hairdryer. There is a hairdryer with coins available - 20 yen. So if you are ok with naked people and like sauna and jacuzzi, worth visiting. Very relaxing”

“Amazing wagyu beef rice sets, one of the best I’ve has so far in Japan. We tried the more fatty versions and it was DELICIOUS. Apart from the beef, the sauce is also a highlight of the dish. Crazy flavours and complements the beef really well. Another side dish I loved was the pickled vegetables and it was great even for me a vegetable-hater 😭 So so good, I would definitely visit again. Also, would recommend coming before the restaurant opens. We arrived right on the dot and there was already a long queue. We had to wait for about 30-45minutes for the first batch of customers to finish. However, tables turn fast so waiting time may vary.”

The reason why I gave it a minus 1 star was because I sat in the seat at the far end near the kitchen the other day, but that seat might be a bit useless. I wrote this because I revisited it. The store has become difficult to visit due to the long lines day after day due to the coronavirus pandemic. I visited because the line was a little short. Last time I was a yokozuna, but this time I was a sekiwake. The noodles are chewy and really delicious.”

“焼肉百名店！ One of the best places where you can have an extremely tasty wagyu in Sapporo City. Location is great, which means you can take metro to reach that. The service is quite good, all the food has been delivered quickly, with very thoughtful staff that always asks you if you need anything! Apart from the wagyu, the Korean dishes are also excellent, lots of customers ordered that as well. Overall, definitely highly recommended!”

“Private room Yakiniku. This was def not your lower price Yakiniku but for 10000 yen per person we got a whole room to ourselves. Privacy was great and the quality of beef was top notch. “My gourmet friend reserved all 9 seats but fortunately one seat got canceled. She offered me this more than 1 year waiting reservation restaurant. I only have ‘ yes’ answer！ I had been their other restaurant. They only offer one course menu which include drinks. Not artistic visual but very interesting food pairing. Stirringly recommend to go with super empty stomach. This super popular small restaurant offer one course only so I am really looking forward what the dishes each time I visit. The course has a lot of purine this time. Can you believe? I have to wait until January 2023 for my next visit! One year from now… I had been few times here and every time I make next reservation though it’s getting more difficult these days My reservation is 2025 this day! Well, I had my next reservation within few weeks surprisingly”

“This is my favorite beef cutlet restaurant. I often go there when I want to eat raw meat.I eat the rare cutlet with mountain wasabi and salt or soy sauce, and it's only one serving. When you add the minced meat cutlet, the sauce comes out and goes well with the minced meat cutlet, making the rice even more delicious. The natto miso soup also has a hearty taste, which I love.”
