“It's quite an ok restaurant. The sushi platter was great though they already add a tad of wasabi inside the sushi. The miso tastes like instant packet ones. The agedashi tofu was quite good. The Chicken katsu was quite large which was good. Sauce was just enough and not overpowering or overflowing which is good. Though it might sound expensive for the lunch time Bento, it would cost the same going somewhere else if you order the same amount of food.”

“We had dinner with family at 5.30 pm sitting. The restaurant is nice and feels homely we sat inside up on the raised level. The staff were all friendly our location proved a bit tricky to get waitresses attention to order more drinks but the owners were lovely people. The food was nice average size portions we had the whipped fetta dip, octopus tentacle grilled, lamb shoulder, grilled fish with Greek slaw, spanakopita (was a bit salty for our taste). Overall we enjoyed our night out and would recommend the Taverna .”

“Japanese BBQ restaurant located further away from the centre of Chatswood. We didn't have a booking and walked in but were seated at the counter. The food was really good. Great cuts of meats available including some cuts imported from Japan. These cuts are very fatty so I wouldn't recommend eating too many of them. The tongue cuts were very delicious and try out the different style was fun. The textures were quite different between the tongues. Service was quick and easy. Order via ipad and food came out quick. Beware of Sunday surcharge and cc surcharge. Overall decent food on pricey side but was good.”

“Had early dinner here on 28/12/2023. We had reservation so the waistaff took us to our table without delay. Fast and efficient. Atmosphere OK but a little bit too crowded for my taste. You order your food via the iPad that is mounted on each table. That iPad is is FIXED position without ability to tilt the angle and without ability to pass it around. So, those wo sit far way from the iPad MAY have difficulty in seeing the screen. When you order, you have to press "order" on the iPad for your order to be sent to the kitchen. Food came out quickly and they are good. Price is OK. We spent $112 for a family of four (without beer/sake/softdrink). They give you 5 percent discount if you pay cash.”

It was in the local area and have decent amount of parking…could never find parking in city and cost you more then the dinner per head just for overnight parking. The food was on point, fresh ingredients, attention to details within the service on the little things like hot bread, cleaned oysters, plate replacements, atmosphere and lighting adds a nice touch as well. Most importantly the staffs were very friendly and attentive. Sandeep the manager of the restaurant was an absolute champion, he knew how to make customers happy with his hospitality and definitely coming back again very soon and highly recommending my friends and family.”

“Came here for dinner with a group of 5 friends with a Chinese background. It is a good local restaurant with genuine cantonese chef. The menu is slightly catered for caucasians, however some of the typical Chinese flavours are there as well. We tried the honey chicken, sweet and sauce pork, stir friend veggies with ginger sauce, Singapore noodles and stir fried beef noodles. The noodles were cooked well, with wok hey. The flavour of the chicken was well balanced, however the texture was a bit too soft and the pork lacked a bit of crisp and colour. However the vegetables though, were on point. Not the cheapest restaurant around, but reasonable quality for the suburbs (can't compare to seafood restaurants), friendly service and didn't have to wait too long. Nice to have something local that we can go back to. Worth a visit.”
