“Meat was of good quality. Prices were good. Cashier was a little too jokey for me. I couldn't tell if she was joking or being racist. Either way it's not a good look especially for as old and dried up as she is. Hopefully my next time going will be a much better customer service experience. The meat counter guy was cool he helped guide me through the different options they had.”

“*** DO NOT BELIEVE THE 4 Ratings, they are posted by restricted fake accounts and all say the same thing. This is what business do to boost their rating before Google figures it out*** Queue Taps, what was once great is now gone. So sad. New ownership. The new owners have painted the interior entirely red which is so off putting, changed the menu, removed everything related to the old owners. Even the wall menu shown in previous review pictures is gone. No more fish. No more chicken. They said kitchen staff remained, but there’s no way they could be true. Messed up my order so badly. The new women up front were very apologetic, but I waited over a hour for my meal, the ribs were fatty, they were out onion rings, and they NO LONGER SERVE BBQ CHICKEN (not a joke) no white mean, dark meat, etc., only wings. Wings. Oh yeah, just what the world needs more wings places. No cornbread provided with our meal. No fish on the menu anymore. They now serve the same, prepackaged banana pudding as Savvy sliders (which is nasty) peach cobbler was soggy, gross, and all sugar. Inedible. No more house made banana pudding. Mac and cheese was so dry, void of actual cheese, which actually explains why the noodles were crunchy. Oh, but you can now get shawarma. So there’s that. $67 wasted. Looking for a new BBQ place now”

“I went to Apollo Coney on 3/16/23 about 11:30 am. The restaurant has a Mom and Pop shop feel, nothing fancy but the food. This is my first visit here. The lady that took my order on phone was very polite. My order was ready in 15 minutes. Pick up my order, a middle-aged lady with blonde hair.( I didn't catch her name. She knows who she is) 🙂. I'm big on customer service and she delivered it. She didn't treat me different because I was a new customer, I appreciate that. The breakfast was cooked like I had asked. It actually tastes like the food I cook for myself. I did put my toast in toaster though because I like the crunch. I had it with a Coke and a 😊. The customer service and the food will bring me back.”

“THE BEST SOUTH INDIAN FOOD IN MOTOWN! How many Indian restaurants around metro Detroit have won “The Best Restaurant” award four years in a row? I guess NONE. That should really say something about Prakash (the owner) and his fantastic chef who manage this restaurant so well. They give no heed to competition. They just passionately make the best food they can and that wins our hearts. A must visit!”
