“Found this restaurant by chance. We were going to Ottawa from Montreal. It is located in a gas station next to a depanneur and a Subway. Stopped to fill gas and decided to check Souvlaki Authentic out. The restaurant was very clean and the waitress was great. We ordered gyros in a pita and the dolmadakia. The food was very good. We enjoyed it a lot and pleasantly surprised.”

“Restaurant is decorated nicely inside. I asked for the quietest spot, but after that all other customers were seated in the same area, not what I had asked for as it became very loud. Maybe there's a reason why someone might ask for this... I had a booth seat which was very comfortable. We ordered the golden beet salad with shrimp and calamari salad. The food was delicious except the lettuce on the calamari salad was swimming in dressing so I didn't even eat it. We stayed a while ordered more food, but felt the staff were trying to get us to leave even though we had ordered more food and half the restaurant was empty. It was really odd. Food was good, service was not so I won't be back. And I also thought it was odd that the first tip percentage on the credit card machine was 16% which seemed a bit high.”

“Where do I begin? Perhaps that this place is worth the 2 hour drive. As someone who has to eat GF (gluten free) imagine my joy in finding a place that offers gluten free pita bread and they’re HUGE. They have all the other offerings too of course, not a small menu! I appreciate finding little spots that you know has regulars, and more than a few - that’s how you know it’s good. I recommend the Kofta - delicious place. Will be back again soon.”

“Much much better than I remembered 10 years ago when I was here for winterlicious. The service before was pretentious but this time I feel they were genuine and friendly. Food were very well prepared, though very pricey. A main fish dish cost about $50-60, thank god it was fresh and large portion! Overall I am glad I came back here, because I would love them to do well as they have been here so long they must be doing something right.”

“Absolutely incredible stay. My boyfriend and I won a radio contest that entailed dinner, a night stay in the grand room, and an exotic car experience on the track. The twisted lemon is such an amazing place. The staff truly took the best care of us, with complimentary wine, the most stunning room with the most quaint details, and the food at the restaurant was perfect. I had the beef tenderloin, along with a few clarity cocktails, and we were offered dessert on the house, and the best table in the establishment. Truly felt so special and taken care of. We hope to be back soon again. Big shoutout to Emma for organizing everything for us, and Marcus for being a great server.”

Food was absolutely delicious I haven’t had lamb this good in a while which was impressive considering every place does generally the same thing but not Greystones! Service was really friendly but our waitress was definitely overworked cause she was hustling & not very present but I like fewer touches at the table when I’m eating so it didn’t bother me. Drinks were good but I was expecting more. I also feel like a change of glasses would do your cocktails better & I forget the name but the side seasoning on one of the drinks all over the glass was more salty than spicy & just too much of it. All in all a fantastic time though.”

“The restaurant itself feels nice, spacious, and airy. We were there for Friday night dinner at around 6:30pm or so and there were lots of empty tables still. Service was very friendly from the moment they sat you down to you getting your food. The calamari appetizer was actually pretty good with enough seasoning and tender batter, but the tzatziki we found was too thick. Their portion was actually very generous! The platters came with the biggest Greek salad we've ever come across with. Where I think they fell short at is the main entrees themselves. My chicken souvlaki was pretty dry and bland. My husband's lamb was much better. It was still more on the bland side but at least wasn't dry. I like that the bread came warm and toasty, but it's almost as if they were griddled for too long that they became too dry and crispy. Overall, 3.5 stars. You certainly would have enough leftovers to take home though!”
