“We booked our table after a friend's recommendation. The restaurant is next to the market at Places des Carmes. It has a a cool urban vibe. The tables were filled with a very diverse clientele. The food is really good, but sometimes a bit too sweet. Some more sour and bitter in the dishes would be nice. Very curious to visit again and taste how the kitchen evolves! Kudos to the team!”

“Wow! This place is amazing. From the most welcoming host to delicious food that just goes straight to your heart. We shared the squid entree, and then the beef and ribs. Everything was absolutely delicious! Ribs where fork tender and so juicy. Better come here hungry because you will leave with a very full and satisfied stomach! “The blend between South African & French cuisine was spectacular, but the service had some mistakes (8.9/10 rating). The food was spectacular and makes the experience worth the amount paid. The dishes are packed with exploding flavours and are presented perfectly, combining elegance with theater on each plate. Although the staff were extremely attentive, there were a few mistakes. Received the wrong champagne (white instead of rose), waiter spilled the remainder of the amuse bouche on the table cloth when cleaning the plate(stone), the cheese course could have been explained better, we asked for and did not receive the aperitif menu. I would still highly recommend the experience, the South African influence on the food is assertive and extremely pleasing on the palate.”

I ordered “the classic of the moment” and asked for it to be cooked medium well, but when I got the beef it was almost burned and black!! But I can say french fries and profiteroles were so tasty. Service was good and staff were welcoming. But in generall I had much better french food in the past!”

The dishes offered were excellent, with the appetizers and desserts being particularly delightful, I would like to mention the "cromesqui mimolette" that was a true masterpiece.
