“What an amazing experience, thank you! This is a restaurant that is at the top of its game. The chef is still in house and directly serving patrons. (He's not off cashing in on his stars and leaving the restaurant to stagnate like so many others have). Each dish was a surprise of innovation in flavor, construction, and presentation. Even the silverware style changed for each course. (And there were 16 or 17 courses.) The wine selection was also good. Valencia was thoroughly and appropriately represented, and we had a customized btg tasting experience (thank you!). Bottle and glass prices are about retail - they clearly want you to enjoy your experience. The water actually cost us more than wine, but we had 6 bottles of water and only 4 glasses of wine. Overall, prepare to be happily satiated before the meal ends, and know that there is cream with nearly every course. We were gifted with a signed letter from the chef and a customized menu that contained our exact wines. One of our best fine dining experiences. 3 star deserving. Thank you!!”

“The limited menu for Sunday lunch was less than inspiring and below the quality we were expecting given Tapas del Sur tops the rankings for L' eliana restuarants on Tripadvisor. However the service was exemplary across the board, so much so it made the experience an enjoyable one. A tiny personal gripe is the selection of beers on offer. The Valencia area has a number of great independent producers who are way better than Heineken and Amstel, surely using them isn't difficult? We will return on a weekday for the full menu as it's not fair to judge the whole setup on just a Sunday one so for now it's 4 stars, mainly because of the great set of people who work there.”

“A superb showcase of fish cookery. Exceptionally fresh produce that was shown to its best. The chef clearly knows what he is doing and it is very refreshing to have a fish-forward menu in this way. The atmosphere in the restaurant is a slight detractor. The lighting is very bright and,the furniture and fittings are looking quite tired and in need of a refresh. If you are looking for somewhere for a romantic meal, this would not be the place. The dessert was also not great. It was local mango and was very underripe and hard. The kitchen really should not have allowed that in a restaurant of this quality.”

“Even though the food is good, it is quite overpriced. The menu is not very clear in terms of price (i.e. 1 rice with seafood must requested by 2 person's and the price on the menu is 17€. However we were charged double. The price on the menu should be 34€). Also, we were charged a cube of ice for the juice.. The service was quite slow but the atmosphere was good so no problem. EDIT: the lack of consideration towards a customer's constructive opinion is clear. 1. I'm not looking for more affordable meals, I simply like when the menu is precise when it comes to meal price. 2. I never said I expected 8.5€ per person, but I still found 17€ plate overpriced considering the quality and portions. 3. As for the ice, I see it as an act of finesse because for any natural juice some ice is to be expected during summer. Once again, it is not about the money but the gesture. Funny that the issue is never yours - either I was not paying attention or it was a language barrier. Who will dare to say something constructive. Hopefully your restaurant is as successful as the quality of character you present in your response. :)”
