“Good restaurant where locals go to eat. Meals are good and well prepared. Combine this with Trieste-relative very good price and you have a winner. Much better experience then going to fancy town center restaurants. We ate antipasti mix of fishes followed by excellent spaghetti vongole. After that we tried fun&tasty kadaif shrimps and sword-fish with calamari meal. Sword-fish was good, tender and super tasty. Also, lemon ice was something to try after a few drinks. Overall good place with even better value for money reward. Locals were helpful and eager to share their experience and tips. And finally if anyone wonders place has indoor as well as outdoor seating places.”

“Classic Osteria with local meat menu mainly. The food is perfect for this kind of restaurant. Even boar was perfectly grilled which is a difficult task. The Frico is a must. It is local cheese grilled with potato and very delicious. Try of course local ham. The wine list is extremely large for such small place. Over hundred different labels but wine only from the north of Italy. They have huge parking so it is not a problem to arrive by car.”

The staff is excellent: fast and polite waiters👍🏻 It was especially nice to talk with Vera in native Ukrainian language🫶🏻 The only drawback is that at 10 p.m. all the guests started leaving and the restaurant stopped working. We were the last visitors and left at 10:30 p.m. I would like to sit until 11 p.m.”

“Our first meal on the way to Grado. The sweet Restaurant is located in a plateau, surrounded by green mountains. In front of the house are standing two donkeys, eating the grass, breathing the fresh air. The purple blue moonflower greeted us firstly. A small path strengths to the Borgo Poscolle. Waitresses they are very kind, friendly and warm. Inside the renovation is like home. Comfortable and full of paintings on the wall. Menu is written by Italien but it doesn’t disturb gourmet to explore the delicious cuisine. I ordered Tonno di coniglo con verdure in agerodolce as appetizer, but actually the portion is just as huge as a main dish. The pickles provide freshness and make me have more gusto to eat more. As second course I had tagliolini Al Nero con gamberi, zucchini. Since the dish presented in front of me, I smelled the sea! Of course I finished all of them without left any sauce. 😋 The fact is that I am good at picking up dishes. I am totally satisfied with what I ordered. Here also offers good quality ham, bacon, salami…. Top! So if you can’t stand hunger till Udine, just come here to have a nice rest.”

“The location is easily reachable, has ample parking around it, and is at a close walking distance from Tarcento's city center. The bar occupies the ground floor and front garden of a gorgeous venetian villa. The architect who probably designed both the bar and the garden did a wonderfully tasteful and refined job. Although the place is in a formal setting, the atmosphere is pleasantly cozy and cheerful. I've been to this establishment a number of times and the staff is always nice, cheery, and helpful. I usually buy drinks and coffee which taste good and have a very fair price. I will certainly go there again when back in Tarcento. Thank you!”

“The tables outside, set spaciously in de lawn provide an environment that inspires a calm and pleasant stay (although the tables inside were quite beautiful as well). Water mist helps and shadow from umbrellas or overhanging grapes help to bring some coolness. The service is friendly, naking up for some minor misses. The menu shows all kind of local specialties providing something quite different. Some of these local specialties have been evolved into new dishes making it all very interesting. I frankly would love to work (eat) through the whole list. We had a first. My wife had the Cjarsons, a specialty of the more northern region (Carnia) which were very good. I had raviolini on a pesto of pistache which was very tasteful. Given the heat and our qish to stay light we picked a starter for our main course. The stuffed fiori di zucca was definitely a great choice. It looked and tasted delicious. We closed of with a refreshing sorbette (mango for my wife, mellon for me). All in all a great lunch, even if the heat was not inviting for it. We will be back for more.”

“If you are a super fan of Neapoleitan Pizza, this is the place. As appetizer we took "Mozzarella in Carrozza" fried mozzarella cheese with peanuts and by the way it wasn't the best. (I think it was frozen product) As Pizza we took "Margherita Mozzarella di Bufala (Bufala Mozzarella Cheese) & Salsiccia e Friarielli (white cheese pizza with sausage and veggies called "turnip tops"). As I said pizza was in Neapoleitan stile, so light dough and soft at the border, be honest I am not a big fan, I prefer more crunchy, but it was okay. At the end we shared a "Calzone fritto Classico" (fried Calzone typical from Naples) with ricotta cheese and pieces of bacon. That one was amazing, for me better than pizza. “Little trattoria near the center of Trieste! Amazing food! Wonderfull hosts. Do not miss the most delicious seafood pastas! As a starter we had a mix of seafood appetizers( sea bass pate, sardines, clams..) after that we tried 2 tipes of pasta. First one was linguini with scampi callamari, vongole, muslles and capisanti. The other one was pasta with sea basa fillet with special kind of olives!soooo delicious! After dinner we tried the selection of diefferent Rums because the owner is a big connoisseur! Dessert was yummy also! If i could give it 6 stars i would!”
