“I love the old neighborhood charm of this place. A place where locals eat. I hear French speaking people around me. You know you are in a good place. As a tourist, I felt so welcomed by the servers. I couldn’t understand French but the lady was so helpful. I ordered a 3 course and it’s 15 Euros. A steal😘, I say!!!! The servers made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. Highly recommended”

“So, I have to say me and my fiance had different opinions about the food here. My fiance had the Entrecote and he liked it. I ordered “the classic of the moment” and asked for it to be cooked medium well, but when I got the beef it was almost burned and black!! But I can say french fries and profiteroles were so tasty. Service was good and staff were welcoming. But in generall I had much better french food in the past!”

The only minor comment I have was for the bone marrow/squid appetizer: the seasoning was heavy on the soy sauce and made it quite salty (hence the -0.5) Otherwise everything else was +++”

“I have traveled in a lot of hostels in my life and I was a little hesitant on that fact that it was not a capsule so worried about noise and not getting enough sleep. But the hostel was very very quiet. I stayed in an all women's room. It had it's own shower and toilet (separated). The beds were comfortable and even had a small locked space for valuables, etc that could only be opened by your own room key. Getting to room was simple (other hostels can be a maze!). Very clean! Would definitely stay again. Two metro stops near by, decent places to eat and plenty of grocery stores near by. They also allow you go keep your luggage in safe space for free (up to 11pm on the day you check-out). I've stayed in hostels where such services were at a cost. The only thing that I would ask they do is that add a few extra hooks. But it is minor :)”

“Le George is a great place to splurge in Paris. I cannot say enough positive things about the service, the menu, and the overall experience. Our meal started with an amuse bouche of tiny shrimp and parmesan crackers. We ordered the carpaccio with summer truffle as our appetizer. The olive focaccia was very good as well. We ordered the tortellini with fresh mint and lemon and the veal agnolotti. The tortellini were the perfect summer pasta. The agnolotti was perfectly cooked with a rich flavor. We ordered the beef tagliata for our second course and it was cooked to perfection. For dessert, I ordered the raspberry tarte, which was served with fresh cream, ice cream, and a shot of raspberry liqueur. We ordered a bottle of Nebbiolo with assistance from the sommelier. It paired perfectly with our appetizers and pastas that we ordered a bottle of Brunello di Montalcino to pair with the steak. Both of the wines were exceptional. This was a lovely way to end our trip in Paris, and we’re already looking forward to returning!”

“We had a wonderful final French meal here on our way from Normandy to CDG before returning to the USA. They were extremely welcoming and provided excellent service. The food was delicious. I highly recommend making a reservation to dine here if you are in the area - you will not be disappointed! I especially enjoyed the dessert of baked pear with caramel - not too sweet, just right. I also really loved the use of fresh, healthy ingredients and the creativity of how they put them together and presented them. It was a filling, satisfying meal.”

“The 4.5 stars is a fair rating. Everything was quite good. Their version of moscow mule for 13 euros, the pita porc sandwich w fried for 17 euros. The fires were outstanding by the way. Consider close to 30 euros per person for 1 drink each. Portion are well served and can be enough for a good lunch.”

“This is a great little restaurant. Small and cosy feel to it but with still enough room for larger groups. The menu was great. Nice selection whilst obviously being carefully curated and each dish we had in our group of 10 or was all given lavish praise. For a three course meal it's 45 euros which in Paris for the quality is pretty good. Wine was excellent. English version of menus too which is a nice to have. Only let down was the lack of Port as an option after the meal. Service was excellent too. Friendly and quick.”
