“Staff was very kind, fast and helpful as they led us to our table and explained their concept of the restaurant. The dishes are so fresh as you literally pick them out yourselves. There’s also a wine tasting area available to order wine and drinks as well. A few times I had to ask about the remaining dishes and the staff was happy to help and the dishes would follow up quickly. I highly recommend trying the octopus, so good. The rest was also as delicious.”

“My colleague and me visit often Rotterdam port for work, last weekend we decided to change from the usual hotel and we took 2 rooms in a hotel in Brielle, without knowing the town or any restaurant. Well, we went to De Smaeck van Brielle and we were so enthusiastic about it after the first night that we decided to go back also another night. The place is very nice and quiet, personnel very helpful and kind and when you get to the food... you just love it. Very well presented, the cooking is perfect and the taste incredibly good. I will be back for sure.”

I would come back to try more Balkan food because it’s hard to find such cuisine anywhere else in The Hague.”
