“I spent my evening with friends here and we had such a lovely time. The service was very welcoming and made suggestions for food. We shared the mazza and they were so yum! The different flavours and textures made it fun to try and everyone had their own favorite. One friend had lamb, another had falafel and one had eggplant in a yoghurt sauce. I had the courgettes in a blackberry-ginger sauce. Everyone of us was happy with their choice and it was so good. We really enjoyed the restaurant and the ambiente from inside is even prettier than the outside. At the end we got some ice cream to try, which was very nice of them. I recommend to come here because I will definitely come back.”

“What an institution... Creative cooking on a level that is unreached here in Hamburg with some amazing flavors on the plate. We had a really great time here. But comparing it to other high end 3star restaurants I might say there is some room to improve. For instance it is quite common to get a little something - an amuse-bouche for the start or end that is served besides the menu you choose. Unfortunately not here. You will just get what you ordered. Which is ok, but I am spoiled from other places. So I am complaining on a high level here. Most of the dishes were great but we also had some that weren’t so memorable.”

“The food was amazing! But after making us wait almost an hour to pay, they wouldn’t let us use the card machine that we had seen 4 other tables use (and they all asked for their check after us). I’ve seen other reviews mention the wait and I thought they were just tourists who aren’t used to a relaxed dining experience. This was truly a wait though”

“We came here tonight for Habibi Night. It was THE best experience and food!! The atmosphere in the restaurant is amazing, it’s like you‘re eating with friends/family. The service is 100/10. The food, I don’t even have words for how amazing it is, definitely 100/10. We will definitely come back! Please keep the Habibi nights! It’s recommended for everyone, even if you‘re not vegan. You‘ll love it!”

“Beautiful exterior, on arrival service staff rather manic and Disorganised . Generally felt very rush with interaction. Sat down and then told that was the wrong table, had to move. Then sat and they did not have enough food menu for everyone. Waited 70mins for mains to arrive as did not order starters. Was so long that wine bottle finished. The beef rump was average- meat quality was ok, over cooked. More medium, the onion on top was good and the sauce very much like intense consoume of beef stock. The noddles was ok. Beef tartar was the better dish, fresh, tasted excellent and nice salad Ambience was felt to be poor; first impression a nice rustic interior but presented itself some issues: very dark-Older folk had difficulty seeing the menu, noisy-Had difficulty hearing each other speak . The manic rush of the service affected table seating near the bar made the atmosphere very much a poor experience . Was considering coming back for Christmas but as had a poor experience, decided to cancel.”

“A very nice greek restaurant with friendly service and good food. We ordered the Gyros with Metaxa Sauce, Rumpsteak, Seasonal Beef and the Mixed Grill Plate. Everything was amazing but the mixed Grill Plate was a bit dry in comparison to the juicy Steak. All in all it was very worth it and we would gladly visit again!”

“Visited today for a snack and a bike. Upon arrival it took a moment to be able to order, even if the place was almost empty, but we were relaxed and accepted it. Then it took 40 minutes of waiting because they simply FORGOT us. Another 20 minutes after reclamation still nothing. Awful service, and awful excuses to avoid to admit their mistake.”
