“The place serves a diverse menu from many different cultures. There’s no one all catch all, you truly have to go there to experience all of what it has to offer. I personally got the Philly cheese steak which was loaded with mushrooms, onions, and green peppers just like I like it. The house curly fries were good as well. But the highlight of my experience was the customer service, which was superb to say the least! Our experience was catered through the upmost hospitable way you can imagine. Every need was met through our dine in experience and there were no crumbs left. If you come here you won’t regret it from its menu to the service, I’m sure of it.”

“It was just ok which was really disappointing since we were very excited to dine at Mateo. Our server was new which is totally understandable. We dined early and we’re there for the happy hour menu. We had the butter lettuce salad (regular menu) which was very good. The dressing was perfect. We also had the steak frites and the moulles from the happy hour menu. The steak was tough and definitely not what I would expect from a Provençal bistro. The moulles were good. I’d eat those again. We finished with the lemon tarte and the panne cotta both of which were average. I was surprised by the number of Italian wines on the list since it’s a Provençal restaurant. There were no white or rose French options. With all of the great restaurants on Pearl St we have lots of options which means each restaurant has to be top notch. This one didn’t perform .”

“Total shame - went & had dinner here with 9 of my business partners. Overall, food was great & experience was something that left us with a great taste in our mouth. Days later, being back in Vail - we stopped by after dinner elsewhere to grab a cocktail at the bar, while 2 people in our party had to use the restroom. The man (who I believe was one of the owners/executives, but don't quote me) at the front was beyond rude when asked where the restrooms were, and then continued by following us all back through the restaurant, making a female guest of ours pretty uncomfortable. The rest of our party was told they couldn't stand at the bar & grab drinks, and were told by this man if they didn't have a seat to leave because standing just "Isn't allowed." Seems like the first time we were treated well because we had a large dinner bill? Way better places to go in Vail, don't waste your money.”

“Casa Tua here is cozier than the Miami spot, which is a nice change. The pastas are fantastic - really can't go wrong with any of them. And you've got to try the Veal Milanese, it's a must! Just a heads up, though, our server was a bit too pushy trying to sell the priciest items on the menu. Keep that in mind, but overall, it's definitely worth a visit.”
