“A perfect 10! I don’t often give a 10 but this was so well so deserved. Starters: scallops & prawns, mains: scallops & cod, From Cadiz With Love cocktail, wine, all sensational! Staff were so kind, friendly, attentive & accommodating. Beautiful restaurant. Lovely atmosphere. If you like seafood and cocktails, then you need to go here. Cannot recommend highly enough.”

“We went to celebrate an anniversary. We enjoyed the tasting menu for dinner and it was excellent! Stand out aspects were the beetroot horseradish macaron, halibut ceviche, Orkney scallop with caviar. The staff are knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. The decor is elegant and understated. It was a wonderful experience and we will be back. Highly recommended!!!!”

“Such a wonderful, cozy restaurant to pop into on a cold rainy day. So many veg options too! Got the sweet potato cinnamon soup and the mac & cheese and got the perfect food coma after. Did an americano after to fix that. The holiday/Christmas decorations were absolutely stunning the commute to the bathroom (a couple floors up) and in general I was pleasantly surprised at how much seating was available! We were able to come in and be seated quite quickly on a Sunday afternoon without a reservation. Great place to come while you’re popping in and out of shops in Victoria street Will absolutely return during my next visit to Edinburgh!”

“Such a lovely little independent restaurant! Went there for the first time, and the staff were really lovely and welcoming. The food was delicious - sometimes portion sizes are huge, but here the portions were just right. The service was prompt, but they also let us stay and relax after our meal. The prices were so reasonable as well - would really recommend!”

“We had the pleasure of savoring the seasonal delights at The Little Chartroom in Edinburgh, and it was an exquisite culinary journey. The 5-course tasting menu, highlighting local ingredients, was a true masterpiece. Each bite was a delightful explosion of flavors, and the oysters were the best I've ever had. The complementary bread was so irresistible that I wished I could eat it all night. Every course, especially the inventive twists with black pudding, smoked trout, and the sweet corn & black garlic custard, left a lasting impression. The presentation was beyond impressive. What truly elevated our experience was the exceptional service provided by our server for the night. She was fabulous, explaining each dish with passion and ensuring our constant delight. We felt truly special. We're already planning to return on our next visit to Edinburgh. The Little Chartroom is a culinary gem with an outstanding menu, presentation, and an unforgettable dining experience!”
