“We booked our table after a friend's recommendation. The restaurant is next to the market at Places des Carmes. It has a a cool urban vibe. The tables were filled with a very diverse clientele. The food is really good, but sometimes a bit too sweet. Some more sour and bitter in the dishes would be nice. Very curious to visit again and taste how the kitchen evolves! Kudos to the team!”

Their ice-cream are simply incredible. Great value to price ratio. Will be coming back this week as well. The only possible improvement would be to change the Menu of the day more often, especially for those of us who visit during lunchtime. If this was the case we would be there at least 3 times a week. Overall fantastic & I hope they will maintain the quality and value.”

“Best meal I’ve had in Toulouse! Went here on the recommendation of clients that I work with in Toulouse, and they got some gold stars for this recco! Two colleagues and I came for dinner and ordered a dish each to share, all as recommended by the lovely waitstaff. We ordered three appetizers: mussels, which were fantastic; pea soup, which caused people to gasp it was so yummy; and a mushroom flatbread that was frankly one of the most delicious thing I’ve eaten in my life. Then we had three mains: a nice fish dish, a crazy good beef dish and a pork dish. All delicious, the fish and pork being good but less mind blowing than the beef. We then ordered four desserts between us: a chocolate cake, a banoffee pie, a chocolate cup and a raspberry tart. Just get the banoffee and the chocolate cake—they were memorable even after the two bottles of wine. Speaking of which, the local wine pairings were affordable and delicious, the Armagnac was served out of enormous bottles with just enough drama, and tasted as warming as it should, and by peer pressure from our neighbors, the creme de menthe went down a treat too! I’d totally come here again, if not just for the food, then also for the fantastic service, the wonderful crowd there and the great atmosphere!”

“Worthy of a Michelin star. For starter price of 39€ for lunch and dinner, you can sample impeccable gourmet food with sophisticated ambiance and warm service, stones away from the Garonne and Esquirol station. Restaurant is located inside a 5 star hotel. And is also a a minute walk away from another Michelin star awarded restaurant Py-R. While that restaurant is very good too, what makes Le Cenacle good is its reasonably priced at 39€ which includes amuse bouche, entree, plat, dessert and petit four. I always get a champagne for aperitif, be careful it’s 20€ per glass. Order with caution. The wine pairing was good, the red wine that went with the pork was curious. It smelled like seafood but it was a good contrast with the plate. Enter in the hotel lobby to the left and you go around the corridor passing the beautiful staircase, I was told original from the construction of the building in the 14th century or so. Then you pass the bar and finally the restaurant. First time I went to this restaurant I got lost in the inner courtyard trying to get to the place. Lol. Well, there is no shortcut, you have to go through inside hotel. The service was very good, you don’t feel snubbed at all, very homey feel and not uptight but very professional. I really appreciate that. They have good staff here. I remember also when I first tried to book months ago, they called me back to say they’re closed as exception and offered to get me the earliest possible booking I would want to come. I respected the hustle that she was doing a good job getting the restaurant booked but I didn’t feel pushed as well, just her trying to serve and being assertive. The food, okay. The amuse bouche were amazing. When you come, eat it left to right, the first one from the left tasted odd but good..somewhat like paper, amusing. The last one on the right was really yummilicious. Entree plat were both simple and yet very memorable, every bite or spoon was a joy. Dessert didn’t disappoint as well. Crusty on the outside and super moist inside, flavors of the sugar and citron were well balanced. Can’t wait to be back. I’m already trying to book for January. Hopefully new menu.”

“What a great place! It’s a restaurant outdoor place with dinosaur statues, a pond, animals, and a swimming pool! They have a great menu and also food trucks with sushi, hot dogs and burgers! There is a jump house and cotton candy! I cannot say enough good things about this adventure! Very family friendly!”

“It was a great experience with Nicholas, who served us during our dinner. We were, however, disappointed because of the following: we booked online as required. There was an option that asked us if there were restrictions. We wrote "beef" and beans. Guess what? They served "veal." 🤦🏾‍♀️ I sent a complaint email within 24 hours. Their response was like telling me that beef and veal are not the same. :( I hope they take it more seriously next time as my mom had a problem the following days as these things are very critical.”

“Fabulous- a little gem! This restaurant is an unexpected treasure given its location on a business park at the edge of Toulouse. We were staying at the Hotel Campanile across the road to visit the Cite de l'Espace and came across it by accident. The pretty terrace is shaded by olive trees, the central tree is beautiful and according to their signs is over 1000 years old. The menu is full of tempting choices and they had a specials board too. Between us we ordered a pizza, a pasta dish from the specials menu and a large salad, and all the dishes were fresh and delicious. I had the house rose which was also good, and good value too. We finished with the Cafe Gourmand which was to die for! A perfect end to a lovely meal :-) The staff were all super friendly and the restaurant had a great ambiance - really relaxed but also with a sense of fun. It was unexpectedly the best meal of our whole holiday and I'll be looking for excuses in future to pass through Toulouse so we can go back there!”

I understand that there is a 24h snack service available, but honestly it would be much easier and comfortable to have amenities in the room and bathroom (a kettle, a bottle of water, better or more amenities in the bathroom). Had all of those been readily available i would have gladly put more stars. But again please note that the staff is really kind and helpful.”

“Visit to Fouquets on the evening of 22 July 2022, 4 people. We chose a charcuterie platter as a starter, which was good. We chose a Fouquets tartare, good, accompanied by very irregular, soft and barely warm fries that glued together. For the other two people, two large and beautiful soles, well cooked, which were accompanied by a mashed potato that was cold and lacked butter. As for the bread, cut in advance, it had had time to dry out, a pity. We chose not to voice our complaints to the waiter who seemed slightly exasperated. We only hope that another time we will have crispy fries and fresh bread.”
