“Amazing food, quite possible the best hummus we’ve tasted in Birmingham! The mains were a little slow to arrive but when they did we were very impressed. The herbs and spices used in the kebab as were perfectly balanced and the meat was not over cooked. Would highly recommend. Staff were friendly and attentive and the drinks were fantastic.”

“AMAZING SERVICE… The Mayan once again has surpassed my expectations. The attentiveness of all the staff was perfect. The drinks, table settings, starters & mains were 10/10. Not one complaint. We had a canal side table and it was gorgeous. The ambiance during the Mexican Mystique was nice. Wasn’t overly loud & we still could have a conversation. We celebrated our new positions at our jobs and they sent congratulations cards and cake. I’m so happy that we finally have a great restaurant in Birmingham with excellent service. We’ve already booked again. Thank you Mayan for a great dining experience ❤️”
