“Absolutely a must! We were in the area looking for a place to sit down and have an authentic Italian dining experience. We walked in the front door and were met by Dora. Even though we didn't have a reservation, she welcomed us right in to a beautiful table for four. When Dora heard we were from Canada, she was excited to tell us about her trip to Niagara Falls. We then asked her what she would recommend. She created the most spectacular five-course Italian culinary lineup we have ever had. The service was incredible, and we were constantly attended to by one of the servers. Dora and her staff made our experience so memorable, and it was an absolute highlight of our trip. “This place was amazing! We had such a hard time finding a good restaurant that was not too touristy. The night we came there we were almost the only ones there which made us skeptical. However, The staff was really nice and we got some great homemade pasta (first picture) - you really have to try that, it’s so delicious! Believe me everything was soo yummy!! You just have to try this restaurant - it was our best food experience at the amalfi coast.”

“Really nice restaurant but even though i sat indoors the doors were open and I felt cold. The food was really nice and the plating was stunning. They definitely have a eye for detail. I ordered the seared octopus but they over charred it and I had to send it back which they happily did. The remade one was perfect. Very expensive but worth it maybe in better weather conditions when you can sit outside in the gardens.”

“Absolutely overpriced beer I had some irish beef steak. They didn't ask me how well i wanted it cooked. Half of it it was medium cooked which was absolutely delicious.. the other half was like almost raw. I understand this meat is consumed very rare done but not everyone likes it like that. I prefer it medium medium-rare. The risotto was delicious Gnocci were really tassteles When i complained about the gnocchi they didnt remove it from the final tab, as we didnt eat it. Kinda expensive for what service they offer”

“We came in by boat and had a truly wonderful experience here! Shocked this place isn’t on any Michelin guides. We stayed on a buoy overnight, they took us in and out on their taxi boat, (charged our phones!) and the food was actually amazing. The whole restaurant looks out onto the beach/Bay Area. Really delicious food, a little pricey as you’d expect in the area but I think on our 2 week trip round Italy, this was probably the best experience overall. Very attentive service from the staff. We actually only booked on the afternoon of the day after a recommendation, would highly recommend and would deffo come back if we were ever in the area again. Thanks so much for a lovely experience!”

“Quite a nice spot away from the tourist traps of the area. We went for the pizza tasting menu, and although our eyes were bigger than our stomach, everything was delicious! Would recommend going for individual pizzas over the tasting menu in the end”

“From the moment we walked in, the service started to be amazing, waiters with a smile on their faces, and they made you feel welcome. They spoke English very well and gave us some suggestions of what to eat. They give you a preview of fresh fish available on the day for you to choose and how they can make it. We ordered oysters, which were very fresh and delicious, also ordered house wine, which was a very good choice. They first serve you the pasta and and then they take the fish away to prepare it for you to eat. The desert was tiramisu and caramel tarta they were delicious, not very sweet, which make you want more. Overall I was soo satisfied with their service and their food. We also met the chef who came out and spoke to us, he spoke very good enlgihs also. I will definitely recommend this place when you are in town it's a must try. I will be going back and it was a great experience in this restaurant.”

“Our favourite spot in Capri! We came here two days in a row because it was so good and the wait staff remembered us! The pasta is cooked perfectly and quality was consistent both days. We got the same pasta dishes and the same octopus and I was actually shocked how good it was both days in a row. The staff is really friendly and the service is quick. They also have lots of vegan options which is nice. The adffogato is a MUST! I highly recommend”

“This lemon grove oasis in Capri is a show-stopper for sure when visiting the island. Recommended by our island friend, Vincenzo we just had to give it a try. The ambience and setting are idyllic for Capri as you sit amongst the olive trees on candle-lit tables. We happened to walk by before service started and the training for the evening was taking place. I love seeing that. The staff was attentive, polite and professional. As other reviewers have said, the dessert bar is a real treat. Be aware that there is a charge per plate so if you over-stuff your dessert plate with the choices it might be a hefty add-on. It's o.k. it is worth it. I tried the tiramisu and Torta Caprese (named for the island) We also enjoyed lemon ravioli too and bufalo mozzarella appetizers. Capri is an expensive island to visit so don't be surprised at your bill, it's an island and many food items have to travel. It is definitely worth it here. We didn't see any celebrities but enjoyed watching others snap as many pictures as they could. I would also recommend dressing up a little bit, casual shorts and beach attire did not seem to be anywhere we looked.”

“When we got into Opera, the vibe was weird. And the service started weird and we didn’t know what to expect. But after a few minutes we understood the the waiters are high level professionals, seeing understanding the customer needs, and have a great wine knowledge. The food was really good. We had the stuffed artichoke, truffle pasta, ricotta tortellini, and the fish of the day. Every was great and I really recommend visiting there!”

“ENG: please don’t waste your time going to this place. The food is average (you are in Naples, 99% of the restaurants are great) but the service is utterly terrible. Constantly taking the plates with half of the food away while we were still eating it. Still doing it even after telling them gently more and more times that we were still eating. They basically rushed us out for the antipasti and then made us wait 1 hour for a risotto. Prices are also quite ridicolous: €60 for 6 TASTE bites and €32 for 4 sorbets. Come on. ITA: non sprecate il vostro tempo. Il cibo è mediocre e i prezzi ridicoli. Il servizio tremendo: se il cliente sta ancora mangiando, non dovreste portare via le portate con ancora metà del cibo dentro.”

I ordered the Fusilli alla genovese estiva con ginepro e polvere d'arancio And Coniglio all'ischitana con pomodorini e profumi della tradizione So basically Pasta with light Genovese, with onions and various cuts of meat, wich the scent of orange and juniper. And Rabbit ragù with wild herbs, simmered with white wine, garlic and romatoes I paid €42 for these two dishes, water and one glass of wine. Worth it. The trek is not for the faint of heart. I suggest getting a taxi. And even then you have to climb a mountain of stairs to get to the top lol. The grounds are gorgeous. I suggest arrive before it’s dark so you can see the view. I arrived when it opened, but the staff sat me at a table without a view. I thought this was strange since no one else was there atm It it was all good though. Just ask to sit where you’d like. They were so kind.”
