Amazing friendly staff, delicious fish, pizza and cakes, a huge choice of fresh food and drinks very well made and presented! Honest prices as a plus! I fully recommend this restaurant to everybody!”

“The hotel room was nice and the garden where you have breakfast/dinner is a very nice setting too. The staff is friendly, but unfortunately the service at dinner not good (40 minutes until the bill arrives). Prices at dinner are a bit higher than other restaurants in the area. The food at dinner was great though. The breakfast was ok - nothing special and terrible coffee. To get an acceptable coffee you need to pay extra at breakfast. The room did not always have hot water for shower and checking out we were charged some drinks/snacks too much. The pool area was nice. The town itself has nothing to offer - bit depressing. Overall everything was ok but not great.”

“We had an amazing experience at La Calizzi! We were warmly welcomed, and it's a beautiful place run by a local family. Our room was very clean and tidied up daily. The meals - breakfast, poolside lunch, and dinner - were all delicious, made with local ingredients, and everything was homemade, even the jams, wines and olive oil! Ottavia provided us with excellent service during breakfast, offering recommendations for attractions and dining daily. The peaceful and picturesque surroundings, coupled with their willingness to assist, make this place a definite recommendation!”

“Three of us had dinner, enjoying as a starter an excellent plate of raw oysters and shellfish and a generous and tasty seafood salad. For the second course we opted for a sea bream and a sea bass from Santa Maria al Bagno, very fresh and well cooked. Welcoming and young atmosphere, attentive service”

“I had very much enjoyed the food there. Especially the freshly cooked fish with spinach. Fresh fish + lemon + olive oil… the fish was cooked just right and succulent. The owner made the noise stopped (from some minor wood work) while I was eating there. Much appreciate it. The raw plate was fresh and delicious although there were some bits and pieces of shells on the meat - I didn’t mind but just have to be careful of the teeth :) It beautiful to eat right next to the sea and watching the seagulls.”
