“Needed a suit, which happens once every 10-15 years, and I wanted a place where they provide full service, starting with the guy who has a tape measure around his neck. Knowing I’d never find that in New Mexico where I live now, I stopped into Karako while on a visit home. Not disappointed. Full service, start to finish, and they’ll even tell you when something doesn’t look good on you. Pricing was right what I wanted to spend. When I told them I’d be flying home in two days they did the alterations in 24 hours and the suit looks great. I can’t remember the name of the salesman who helped me the afternoon of 12/8, but I appreciate the excellent service and advice.”

Like other reviews have noted, there isn't much of a men's clothing section, but everything else seems pretty normal. I was really impressed with their Halloween decoration selection. They even had a whole bunch of halloween-themed toys for pets. The store has a handful of handicap parking spots and double doors for wheelchair accessibility. The layout and presentation is good and organized well enough for efficient navigation. They have small department areas such as perfume, jewelry, home furniture, shoes, and the like. Traffic was on the busier side but not jam-packed or unmanageable.”

One of them, Gladys, was especially attentive in the fitting room and dug around in the back for diff sizes a few times when I wanted to try diff fits. I will say, they don’t have many colors and they don’t have much in the smaller+taller sizes which was a little disappointing. I’ve remembered having easier luck in other locations at other times so not sure if this is a location-specific thing or a corporate styling thing. Taller girls don’t wanna wear squatters necessarily!!”
