The enchiladas were not enchiladas as we are accustomed to, and who gets sweet potato fries and salad with enchiladas?! Rice & beans always! Service and atmosphere were both great, but the food is not even close to authentic Mexican.”

“Had a great experience at the Salt & Silver Latin America restaurant! To start it off, we had some of the best pisco sours we have ever tasted. Each course was not just very delicious, but also beautifully arranged with amazing colors and textures. The fish dishes were probably my favorite, but I must say, the vegetarian dishes were out of this world as well. The service was so friendly and helpful as well which really improves the overall dining experience! Overall we had a great time here and can definitely recommend it to anyone visiting or living in Hamburg!”

“Very friendly and accommodating staff, we went there with a large group and the staff were able to speak English, Spanish and German. Nice atmosphere. However, the food was bland and not just for my dish but others as well. Basically no spices or salt whatsoever, you could only taste the heat of the chillies. I regret having spent money on that”

Great Selection of wines aswell and the price is reasonable. The atmosphere is great but what is the best thing are the waiters. Ive never seen such an amount of hospitality before. “My wife and I were in Frankfurt to see my step son. He took us to the 12 Apostles which was not far from our hotel. He'd been in there for drinks with friends before, but never eaten there. 100% highly recommended. It was amazing. Fair prices for great food. I had the Argentine steak and my wife had the Pork Knuckle. This was one of the best steaks I've ever had. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Great service and wonderful atmosphere. A table of 11 gentlemen came in and sat behind us, and it was one of their birthdays .. they sang 'happy birthday' to him and it sounded so amazing. It was also my wife's birthday ... she plucked up the courage to tell them and they sang her her too. What a wonderful evening. The venue was interesting too as an old monks brewery. If you are in Frankfurt, you MUST go here.”

“We were staying at the campsite of Camping Waldbad across the street during the heavy rains a few weeks back. Because of this we had to wade through half a metre of water to get from the bus stop to the campsite. We arrived at the restaurant drenched in water. Sadly they don't accept foreign cards and we didn't have enough cash with us to buy a meal for every one of us. One of the waiters offered us that we could get the rest of the money the next day. It is safe to say that this is the best curry wurst I have ever had.”

When we were counting our coins to pay, the waiter got very impatient for no good reason. Also, the breakfast menu is served until 13.30, and you can't order from the lunch menu until then. The food was good, but for those reasons I wouldn't come back.”
