Also, experienced the Street corn, which was my favorite of the things I tried today. The Baja taco had an excellent crisp bite to it, but the Taos felt a little dry for my tastes.”

“My wife and I were in search of some Latino dishes and went to Don Carlos on Cherokee only to find out that they were closed on Jan 28 & 29, 2023. Their Google profile said that they opened at 10:00 am however, when we got there that wasn't the case, so we were VERY disappointed. I LOVE visiting small businesses because I am a small business owner myself and feel they have the best experiences. So my wife and I had to regroup and find a new restaurant to try that would give us what we were looking for. She remembered that there was a restaurant that she had been wanting to try and have been watching for a few months now, that is Latino cuisine. So we went. Listen people, this is an experience you have to have! The restaurant is right on the corner of McNair in the heart of Benton Park and the staff is warm, welcoming and tons of fun. They weren't weird or awkward explaining the menu and really gave us a complete, perfect experience. We ordered the chips and queso, Black bean nachos, hush puppy jalapenos, and the shrimp and steak fajitas. The food & flavors are so unique while also remaining in the authenticity of Latin generational dishes. EVERYTHING was amazing! The atmosphere, the food and the family feel you get dining in this place is stellar. They are a diamond in the rough. Visit, visit, visit and have some of their signature drinks while you're there that are just as amazing as the dishes. I'm so happy that this place, was the place where we got exactly what we didn't know we were wanting and more!”

“This place is phenomenal for wings! It's the wing central for the area, and I like that it's a local company that has been around for a long time. But seriously, if you love wings, whether HOT 🔥 or Savory, give this place a try. They have so many unique sauces that you can add, and the chicken is delicious. One of my personal favorites is the raspberry jalapeños wings. Recently I went and got the hottest ones they offer, (road runner). And let me tell you, they did not disappoint. I am a huge fan of extremely hot food and this place definitely brings the heat. The environment of this restaurant is really nice. It's a chill "sports bar and grill" type place with lots of tv's to watch the game from. Sit back and have yourself a beer and wings! 5 out of 5!”

“Took kids and grandkids here after a Christmas concert at their school because our little actress requested it, specifically. She got "chicken, cheese, and rice." The chicken was amazing! She had some leftovers, and I got to take it home. It's so good. The portions of everything at the table were quite generous. The service was really fast. It'd a great family place.”

Street tacos were so tasty you didn't need the sauce- just the lime was fine. Mild salsa was very flavorful. I'll be back and will use the drive thru or carry out option. Price was acceptable for the food.”
