“My first time here. I had the 2-item lunch special & it was very reasonably priced for the amount of food & options. I’m a Cali girl & have high standards for my Mexican food. This is the best Mexican I’ve found in WI so far. The food came out quickly, was hot & fresh. The verde hot sauce is great. Although the salsa with chips could be thicker & with more cilantro. Excellent wait staff & excellent cocktail from the bar. I highly recommend & will be back!”

“Tried this place to enjoy the outdoor River side seating/sunset. Unfortunately the host wouldn’t seat us out there because of dark clouds rolling in. Menu has a lot of American-style options of Mexican dishes. Decent prices, server was ok. We ordered guacamole and it never came but at least she didn’t charge us for it. Food was fine and overhead lighting is bright for a restaurant”

“I absolutely love this restaurant! The size of the tacos and the way you order and have a tab makes it vwry easy to experiment and try different tacos or foods throughout your meal. I love, love, love the street corn and highly reccomend it. The salsa is so addictive and unique! The wait staff is super kind and they explain everything thoroughly. We didn't look at when they opened (our fault) and walked in a few minutes before the kitchen was open, and they were nice enough to get us a seat and some water until it was time!! Very kind and cool place.”

The margaritas are really good and refreshing ( I am underage i am just using my uncles phone to write this review so obviously the margarita was non-alcoholic and I am glad they have that option hehe)The atmosphere is very enjoyable and really well decorated. Besides the food and the atmosphere, the service from Juan is very nice we always feel very welcome and well served. Thank you Juan for making me and my uncle feel welcome!!! “This is by far my favorite restaurant in the area. The Latin cuisine is authentic and delicious and it’s difficult to pick a favorite dish. The enchiladas verdes and salsa verde with chips are what I order most often. So, so good!! I’ve never had a disappointing meal here. The atmosphere is beautiful and the waitstaff are always friendly and attentive. So glad to have this establishment in our community.”

“Taco Local prides itself in fine Mexican cuisine. Great tacos, fun atmosphere, and fast service. The al pastor tacos were extremely flavorful and the serving was very generous. Carnitas were super tender and the trio of dips were delicious. Prices are quite higher than standard taco joints, but the food is authentic and comes out right away, hot and fresh. Will return to try the tequila lime chicken, Korean bbq and a few margaritas.”

“Of all of the Chipotles I've been to the one seems a notch lower than the rest. The quality of the food is inconsistent. The staff are nice but often struggle with anything that is "off script" which is tough at a build-your-own-burrito place. To be fair, some of that is how loud it is where you order. I love chipotle but I've been disappointed enough times here that I probably won't come back any time soon.”

“The location is nice and secluded, the trees in the back of the parking lot give it plenty of shade, if you want to eat outside. The redesigned interior is beautiful and the built-in fireplace from the previous design is still the centerpiece of perfection. If you're looking for a Subway that's architecturally pleasing, this is the one for you. It's nice and quiet so you can actually have an intelligent conversation with someone.”

“Solid authentic Mexican seafood restaurant. This is not your standard run-of-the-mill fare either. Coming in from the twin cities on my way to my hometown of Chicago, I stopped by and was pleasantly surprised by the distinct family-style flavors here. I ordered the labgostinos dish and shrimp ceviche. Both were more than enough for me and possible another person if I had company. Solid. :)”
