“Since we had been to this restaurant once before, we have been obsessing for paella. But, to get to this restaurant during the dinner hour, you take your life into your own hands. It is like driving through Tijuana in a 1957 Chevy convertible. We pulled into the parking lot and we were almost run over by a diesel pickup. It was a nightmare. We entered the restaurant and were met with serenity. The peacefulness and calmness of the dining room was a 180 degree difference from the outside craziness. Our server, Carmen, made us feel at home. She was very gracious. We had mussels and nachos for appetizers and they were both delicious. I have never tasted such a flavorful sauce with mussels. I couldn’t get enough . Then came the paella. The presentation was beautiful. And the flavors were phenomenal. And the amount served for two people is more than plentiful. The food and the service is well worth a visit. Thank you chef and crew.”

“What a gem of a restaurant I can't say enough good things about this place. It was so welcoming and warm. The food was tasty and prices are not bad. If you go be sure to try their homemade dessert. I had the crab melt which priced at market rate was still very affordable at $12.95”

“Was very good. Waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. We had to ask for cutlery when meals arrived...and oddly, hot sauce! I had the taco salad, came in edible taco type bowl. Delicious, personally i think, could have used more lettuce.”

“Fish Taco is a very nice fast food restaurant with seating in open and indoor as well. Can seat around 50 people both ways and there's parking at the door. Food and service is good. Fish and Shrimp tacos are very good. And Margherita is too good to go with all this. It's famous with local community and is busy all through the week.”

“Amazingly delicious Queso Fundido Con Beef! That, along with a simple salad, made for a fantastic lunch. That said, the absolute star of the show was their salsa—still warm at 11:00 when they opened because they make it fresh every day: grilled white onions, oven-roasted tomatoes and just a few jalapeños, a little garlic, salt, and pepper, combined by an immersion blender. Plus fresh-made corn chips still warm.”

“Fast food style Mexican foods. The servers are very nice and friendly. We’ve had the tacos, bowls, quesadillas, burritos and chip and guacamole. All the seafood dishes I’ve had have been very tasty and fresh. I’d say the food is decent in size for the price. Parking here can be tricky but there is a side parking lot by the grocery store so it’s not too bad. Overall I’d recommend if you want to grab something fast.”

“We haven't been to Zen West in ages! But, we had a great experience overall on a recent visit. We arrived on a Friday evening and were lucky to be seated at a table right away. I don't think I ever saw anyone having to wait for a table that night. We ordered a couple of margs, an app and entrees. The app was the only disappointment/unusual thing. I have never seen nachos presented this way at a restaurant. While very tasty, they looked like what I made as a teen in the oven at my parent's house. Odd. But tasty. The drinks were good, and had a decent pour. I got the spicy margarita and it lived up to its name! My kiddo got the crab and shrimp quesadilla, which was very good. My hubs got the Ahi Tuna Tacos which he said were very good and I got the Carnitas Burrito, also very good! Maybe the sides could have been a bit larger, it was a small amount of rice and a lot of lettuce. I am sure we will be back!”

“My family and I come here every weekend (sometimes twice a weekend) and we are happy every time. We had dinner here tonight and it was on ANOTHER LEVEL. The food is always amazing, everything on the menu is delicious. But tonight was something else. My husband had the special, Tacos Al Pastor and I had the Texas chimichanga and it was to die for. The food is always hot when it comes to the table, the service is AMAZING, everyone treats you like family. They somehow manage to make the environment personal and romantic, yet family friendly at the same time. If I could give them 10 stars I would. No complaints, we will be there every weekend, no fail.”

“Wow…this was a nice discovery! Best Cajun food I’ve had since Texas. The jambalaya was large, nicely seasoned (yes…spicy) and laden with chicken, shrimp, sausage and crawfish. Bread pudding was delicious. Very custardy. I’d like to bathe in its buttery sauce! Will definitely return. Highly recommended!”

“Great experience here! Staff is great and friendly! Food is delicious! My wife I had tacos, and I had to get the Chimichangas after the server told me they were delicious. He was right! I didn’t expect to get 2! We have to stop by for Taco Tuesday. The tacos were great and hearty with food portions. It was great that the corn tortilla had 2 that were semi fried together because they did not fall apart. The only issue we had was that the rice and beans were a tad salty. Otherwise, everything was great! Can’t wait to try the drinks menu the next time around.”
