“It’s seriously one of the greatest “Italian” restaurants in Michigan - and I say that knowing full well that it’s technically a Mexican restaurant. The food is always outstanding, the drinks are always flavorful, and it’s a destination I’ll keep going back to, even if it is a bit of a distance for me to get to. Cannot speak highly enough about it.”

“Had a lovely meal and experience at this “new to me” restaurant! Saw it on social media and the location and atmosphere live up to the hype. With the canals and boat slips it feels more like a tropical paradise than east Detroit. Loved the outdoor areas, the whimsical furniture/settings, and combined indoor/pergola/outdoor areas. It could use better signage and the parking situation isn’t great; can be confusing where to park and enter. The hostesses were friendly and welcoming. Our server was over immediately and was fantastic start to finish. Fun drink menu and loved the $3 beers. The food menu, although a little ‘small’ was still interesting and varied. Shared a smoked fish dip appetizer—yummy! Entrees of fish and chips (fantastic) and marrow burger (unfortunately overcooked-not served medium). Was hungry so didn’t want to send burger back but I’m sure they would’ve brought us another one if requested. Overall super fun and will come bask. They should figure out a way to offer boat rides or even a dinner cruise. The reason for 4 stars v 5 is the parking situation and the burger but don’t let either deter you.”

“I had the steak tacos and they were delicious. The meat was so juicy and flavourful and the taco was finished nicely with cheese and onions, all wrapped up in a warm tortilla. Walked in and left with my takeout order within five minutes. They have a vast selection of different hot sauces to choose from to spice things up as you see fit. Newly renovated interior and great staff.”
