“Delicious mexican cuisine that is worth the visit. The margaritas, especially the mezcal one (Flores) is amazing and one of the best I have tried so far. As for lunch I tried a variety of the tacos - fried cod, asado and pulled pork. Fried cod and asado were the best. Ensure to leave some room for the tasty churros with chocolate and lecce dip! Staff is friendly and you are able to also sit and enjoy on the outdoor seating.”

“My husband and I were in town to see the Warriors home opener, but I had some time to fly solo while he was working. I decided to try Barrio for a margarita and fish tacos. Wow! The drink was perfection, the chips and salsa were incredible, the fish tacos were amazing and the service was impeccable! Lucky me! I sat outside with a perfect view of the bay, a little bit of sunshine and I'm so glad I stopped here. I'll be back without a doubt!”

“great oaxacan cuisine in the mission. the food was amazing and they have great tuesday happy hour specials. would come back to try the tacos and rotating tamales flavor next time! cheese and jalapeno tamale: my first tamale and really enjoyed it. loved the corn flavor and salsas on the side mole chicken tinga enchiladas: amazing mole sauce but the chicken was a little dry. the sauce carried the dish and still enjoyed it overall churro donut: well cooked and had a good chew, not too crispy”

“The vegan pizza was so good I love how it’s thin and cooked a little extra to make the crust crispy. The vegan sausage has a spice to it so didn’t need a lot of extra seatings or sauce. The vegan kale Caesar salad might be the best one I’ve ever had, definitely want to try other options.”

“Love the vibe of this place. To be fair I went for dinner and not drinks, though I wish I would have gone for drinks instead. Dinner was huge, it was good, but unfortunately not necessarily amazing in my opinion, there's so many amazing Mexican restaurants in the city it just isn't at the top of my list. The refried beans were yummy, as was the guacamole, the tacos were meh, enchiladas were pretty good, the salsa was SUPER disappointing. But all in all I would still go back with a group based on the ambiance and the service.”

“Came here on a Tuesday night with a reservation and it was super fast to get seated! Good: - Unique dishes and takes on things - had a super pretty guac and chips $16 was too much to pay for it though, the chips were super oily and fried which I did like though - I liked the spinach enchilada, but the initial taste is a little pungent and not super appetizing, the more you eat the tastier it gets! - The overall vibe was nice for a friend catchup! The food tastes more healthy than others. Bad: - Super pricey - spent about $40 a person for a simple appetizer and 1 entree. Overall this place was good, but due to price, I probably won't go again.”
