They have a respectable assortment of wines and scotches, although their cocktail selection is somewhat limited. As widely acclaimed in reviews, their watermelon salad is exceptionally delicious. You can order it in regular or single portions, and I recommend the single portion as it pairs well with other entrees like tacos. Alternatively, you might want to consider their Caesar salad. The Seabass tacos are my personal favorite, and they are served with the mouthwatering watermelon salad, making for an amazing combination. The chicken tacos are also fantastic and are accompanied by Mexican rice, white beans, and salsa. Overall, this is a place you should definitely check out. Enjoy your visit and have a great time”

“Oh, how I do love my hole-in-the-wall restaurants. I stumbled upon this little gem while lying in bed and searching "best breakfast near me". The menu selection looked appealing as did the prices. They didn't disappoint. As the photo shows, I had the corned beef hash and eggs, with country potatoes, cornbread, and coffee. As you can see, the portioning is very good. You won't leave here hungry! The corned beef hash was just a tad to the greasy side, but it was absolutely delicious!! The country potatoes were to die for. The cornbread, light, fluffy, and equally delicious. I highly, HIGHLY recommend this place! I will very definitely be back. I think I've found a new favorite place!!”

“I ordered 4 tacos 3 steak And one chicken. The Steak was decent. I'd recommend it over the chicken for sure. Good amount of meat $5 per taco. But the chicken wasn't seasoned well or at all. It looked to be boiled.very spacious place. Upstairs and downstairs with outdoor seating as well. Also vegetarian options .”

“We came back to this place again for a quick lunch. I didn't notice the other menu items last time but, it is quite varied so I'll have to try the Huevos dishes (11-1) or quesadilla? The corn tortilla tastes great! Plenty of food in each taco. We went there to try out the place on a Saturday for lunch. The tasty tacos lived up to most of the review raves about the delicious taste and fresh corn tortillas. Lots of options on their menu. Small indoor seating area and decent outdoor area in an urban setting with people asking you for money. For me, another trip to Rico Rico Tacos as a destination would involve another day of the week, another time of day and being in the near vicinity of Lake Merritt/Grand Lake Theater. Allow some time to find a place to park regardless of the day and time that you drive there.”

“The tacos were great and so were the burritos. I was disappointed in the chorizo nachos as the didn't put that much meat on them. On the Tacos and burritos they gave a lot of meat. The place was hot inside and needs a good AC unit to cool the place in a 100 degree weather.”

“Slept on this place, since I only remembered it as Nino's Brazilian pizza for a number of years. Glad I stopped in, since they're making super fresh tacos and have a wide selection of Mexican restaurant, and street food, not expensive, with a great atmosphere to hide out from the hustle and bustle. Tacos are a little more on the expensive side, but freshness and well done. Recipes make up for the cost. Highly recommended.”

Sometimes bowl, sometimes burrito, always consistent. Perfect spot to grab a quick lunch with a friend or colleague or late night last minute dinner plan. Comal Next Door is my favorite taqueria on Grand.”
