“This pita restaurant is one of my favorites. It's easily accessible with ample parking in the plaza. We have had the chicken and beef shawarma wraps so far. Their wraps are generally enormous in size and stuffed with fillings. My only complaint was that the sauces with additional charges weren't clearly labelled.. So during my first visit, I added two sauces and some pickled veggies that all had extra charges. Lesson learned (This has since been fixed and they're all clearly shown) The meat and sauces are all flavorful. They make an in house hot sauce that packs a punch. If you're looking to get a good bang for your buck, you'll definitely want to check them out.”

“Where do I begin? Perhaps that this place is worth the 2 hour drive. As someone who has to eat GF (gluten free) imagine my joy in finding a place that offers gluten free pita bread and they’re HUGE. They have all the other offerings too of course, not a small menu! I appreciate finding little spots that you know has regulars, and more than a few - that’s how you know it’s good. I recommend the Kofta - delicious place. Will be back again soon.”

“I've been going to this Amir for a number of years now and after eating I always say I need to leave a review. When we eat out we don't eat at all the burger joints and instead eat what we believe to be the healthiest type of fast food and Lebanese food is it. We have eaten at so many Lebanese restaurants over the years and were so happy to find one in Valleyfield when we moved here five years ago. My experience in life is this. Whenever you find a restaurant that if family owned and run, chances are it's going to be good. Well, this restaurant is all that. In fact, they care very much about the food and service they provide. I looked at some of the prior reviews they have received and there were a few bad ones that make no sense to me. My experience is always the same. A more than generous amount of fresh food with a smile. They always have a adequate amount of staff so, the line moves quickly if there is one. I like my meat cooked a certain way (charred) and it's delivered that way to make me happy. Great food and a great family that takes a lot of pride in what they do.”

“I went there for their Winterlicious menu. We ordered the following dishes: (appetizers) bissara, dokka; (main) koshari, hawawshi (we ordered both the beef and chicken/goat cheese); (desserts) bird nest konafa, konafa Canadiana. We also ordered their two available ice-teas (saffron and hisbiscus) First, the place is quite small. It has only about 8-9 tables. There is only one person in the front room serving everyone so the service can be a bit slow. It is not a problem if you don't need anything, but if you ask for anything extra, like more spicy sauce, it will take a while to arrive. Second, the food is quite good, but nothing special. It's not a place I would go out of my way to come back to. For the appetizers, one was a hummus-liie dip with 2 small pieces of pitas bread. The other was dry dip with 2 small pieces of pita bread. I felt that they were really stingy with the pita bread. The hawawshi is described as a burger but it isn't really, it's more like a calzone. The koshari tastes similar to a pasta/rice/chickpea salad. The konafas were ok. I think the bird nest one tasted better than the Canadiana. In sum, the food was enjoyable but not memorable. If I could give a rating of between 3.5-4 I think that's more accurate for me. As for the ice-teas, I wouldn't order them again and I do not recommend them. They tasted like low quality powdered drink of some sort. The saffron one had a weird taste, and not sure how I could describe it. My dinner mate said maybe plasticky. the hisbiscus one didn't have much flavour. I saw them take the drinks pre-made from the fridge. I doubt they made the drinks themselves. Also, they handed us the receipt before we even finished our meal, which I thought was a bit odd. We had late dinner so it wasn't like there was a lineup of people looking for a table.”

The lamb was a bit tough, but the merguez was outstanding. Their mint tea was amazing! They don't serve alcohol, but there is a shop right next door where you can buy alcohol and bring it into the restaurant with you. Would be happy to return here again to try other dishes.”

“on November 9th 2023, 21:15 pm, I was extremely disappointed by the service of the employees working at the moment. They did not deliver a proper customer service. When we asked for a simple question, we were refused right away with no explanation, besides “this may not be done”. To precise, we asked the employee if we could have a plate with both shawarma & kefta, even if we had to pay extra, we just really wanted to have ONE plate with BOTH meats. The employee then refused and said it’s either one or the other we can’t to both. We then took a regular mixte plate, but still wanted to understand the logic. We asked them politely “is it because you cannot to that or is it because you didn’t want to honestly” and he said he never couldn’t, it just doesn’t “fit” in the plate, and doesn’t have a price for that. BUT THEN, I asked “so you don’t have a price for “extra meat” he said yes. SO CLEARLY, we could’ve taken a kefta plate with extra shawarma, as simple as that but the employee didn’t even bother and just pretended that he couldn’t make it probably because kefta takes longer to prepare. Unfortunately, because of this experience i will not step foot in the amir blainville again, i suggest you don’t either.”

The server was great and checked on us during our meal. There is a $10 parking fee at the museum.”
