“It's a small place but the staff was very friendly. The serving is quite big that I couldn't finish all, but too tasty to waste. So I tried to wrap the leftover to go and the staff offered to help with aluminum foil. I had Hummusapiens bowl, hummus, chickpeas, falafel, pickled cabbage, sausages, potato, onion, cucumber, tomato, cuscus, eggplant, halloumi, chilli paste and mint. Great experience!”

“This restaurant was recommended to me so I was excited to come here. Sadly, the experience was quite disappointing. Based on the website I expected a “culinary travel through the Orient”. However, what I got was a selection of glorified Döner-Schnellimbiss quality food. Although they did not taste bad, they were very very far from authentic “Oriental” food. Its more like a German translation of North African/Turkish/Israeli kitchen.”

A tip: share the dishes and discover the diversity of Israeli cuisine. We really enjoyed it. We had Schakschuka, hummus and pita. Plus non-alcoholic Tannenzäpfle and Maccabi. Nana - Meze & Wine doesn't have much space, which is why it makes sense to sit in the. Apart from that, the restaurant is always busy and popular, but only has a few seats. We spent a few pleasant hours here and will definitely be back. Thank you! A clear recommendation!”

“The Food was amazing, at least the items that we got, which had everything in there, chicken, Adana, lamb chops etc. everything was nice. We felt the service could or needs to be better, waiter didn’t speak English that well and what I ordered wasn’t exactly what I got and instead I had to pay 20euro extra for only one Adana. The fries that I order didn’t come and there many other behavior with the waiter that we didn’t like. Atmosphere was crowded and maybe could have been better with some space between the tables, people were going back and forth all the time, since it was crowded, they always bumped into our chairs. But the food was amazing.”

“I spent my evening with friends here and we had such a lovely time. The service was very welcoming and made suggestions for food. We shared the mazza and they were so yum! The different flavours and textures made it fun to try and everyone had their own favorite. One friend had lamb, another had falafel and one had eggplant in a yoghurt sauce. I had the courgettes in a blackberry-ginger sauce. Everyone of us was happy with their choice and it was so good. We really enjoyed the restaurant and the ambiente from inside is even prettier than the outside. At the end we got some ice cream to try, which was very nice of them. I recommend to come here because I will definitely come back.”

“OK, as a person who lived in Iran for 20-plus years, I am well aware of Iranian cuisine and hospitality, what we didn't find at all in SAFARAN restaurants, specifically about hospitality, The waiters were truly unfriendly Like they are doing a favor by serving us, The food was well made and delicious But the prices were much higher than it should, I ordered a SALAD SHIRAZi that was priced 5.50€ and when they brought it It was clear that it could cost them .50 cent. One of the biggest problems They didn't accept card payment We had no chance except going out to an ATM machine to take cash for them, In general, I will not go again to this restaurant and I don't recommend it to others,”

“Christina was our server and her friend runs this place. We didn’t know What to order and Christina volunteered to order appetizers and main courses for our table of six to share. The lighting and ambiance was 10/10! The server was 10/10! The restaurant portions were 10/10! The presentation was 10/10! The taste was 10/10! The wine was a 10/10! The mixed drinks were 10/10! The litmus test to our party was “would we come back again” and the answer was a resounding YES!! We are foodies and this place killed it!! Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a change of cuisine while in Berlin for Octoberfest. Love this place and we believe that we could not have had a better experience without Christina. She made the meal PERFECT! Thank you Christina, wonderful experience and memory!! We forgot to take pictures of all the appetizers.”
