“Came here on Sunday night. The patio was busy. The servers were very nice and friendly. We had the chicken shish tawook, the vegetarian plate and some falafels. All of the dishes were beautifully presented and tasted very good. The falafels were nice and hot, crispy on the outside. The chicken was nicely seasoned and grilled. The portions were huge. Plenty of leftovers. We had some baklava and it was outstanding. Not too sweet and pleasant for an after dinner treat.”

“10/10 recommend. So flavorful and delicious. It’s always busy and for good reason. My friend who joined me is vegetarian and said the falafel was to die for. My grilled chicken plate was perfect and the portions are great. Two meals in one!”

“Tried the hummus with their bread… they just gave me cold bread, and a very cold hummus… mentioned it to the waitress and she said that they always warmed it up before serving it, and their hummus have been always served cold. In my personal experience and opinion, NEVER have been eaten bread that cold… and the hummus, when it’s freshly made, it isn’t that cold (even the plate was very cold!) the waitress never offered, at least, to warmup the bread. Ordered their Lamb Kebab Plate, the rice and salad was ok, until tried to cut the lamb pieces, it was very difficult, and chew them was too hard, because it was full of tendons. Mentioned it to the waitress and she talked with another superior staff and offered apologies and tried to sell other dishes, but never offered a dish with lamb, when mentioned her that only wanted to eat lamb meat. When requested the check, got a discount for the problem with the Lamb meat. Not my best experience, hope anyone else can have a better one.”

“Very delicious Middle Eastern food. Tender and succulent kabobs. We ordered Beef kabab, Kefta kabab, and the Lamb chop plates with falafel on the side. The pita bread which came with it was soft and warm. The hummus and Tahini were really great too. It also had come with some kind of pickles and beets. Interesting. I admit that the closest to “Middle Eastern cuisine” I have eaten before has been Greek food. Honestly, I liked this better than my Greek food experiences. (This does mean one is better than the other. This is based on my experiences, ok?) We had ordered pick up. Next time will definitely consider dine-in. Friendly owner who hopes to be adding salmon and shrimp to the “kebab” menu. Clean and tasty Would have liked a printoff receipt with each item and charge, but I suppose I should have asked if I wanted it enough… but I didn’t want to be a pain, either. 9.5/10”

“Berber has been a spot I’ve been eyeing for years. Not sure if it is the same place but they use to have tents. As soon as you step foot inside it is a whole new world.we got the VIP experience which comes with a few extras(great seating, cocktail with every course, picture opp with performers) -Bread with 3spreads: fresh baked bread that pairs perfectly with all three spreads. -Sweet Potatoes(not pictured): sweet potatoes with goat cheese and honey were the best part of the night if you ask me. -Sea Bass: first time having sea bass and it melted like butter paired perfectly with the vegetable couscous. Baklava: freshest baklava I have ever had Dinner and a show in the city you couldn’t ask for more. The service and food were good, just not sure it is a Michelin. The wait staff is good but they are so busy that you don’t feel complete in that area but not their fault, there is a lot of moving parts to the show. All of the performances were good. Just a tip we booked the 7:30 show and didn’t leave until around 10, great event.”

“Excellent from start to finish. Cozy little bistro serving excellent grilled meats and Mediterranean sides. The lamb chops were tasty, tender and flavorful especially when paired with the smoky velvety babaganoush. The chicken shawarma wrap was also a hit as was the succulent salmon.”

Look at my picture and the previous review pictures, you will notice, the color, texture and believe me the taste is not the same :(”

“This place was absolutely amazing! Dined here for the first time with my girlfriend and we shared the following... Lentil Soup Roasted Cauliflower Arugula Salad Pan fried Shrimp with Shishito Peppers Salmon Kabobs Chocolate pot dé creme Kunefe Turkish Coffee Everything was wonderful, and the big standouts for me were...the arugula salad with Turkish apricots dusted sumac and a pomegranate glaze... the flavors were so unique and delicious! The pan fried shrimp had a little kick but was cooked perfectly and served with shishito peppers on the side in a chili oil. The salmon kebabs were so moist and again so flavorful...one of the better kabobs I've had in a very long time!”

“So this place is excellent, the food is always good, but the prices are just kind of mind bogglingly high. It costs 9.45 for a large Shirazi salad, which is only an 8oz container...Perhaps they gave me a small I thought, but turns out the small is $5 for 4oz, like 2 bites of salad, like a literal sauce container. Maybe try a 16oz or so? Included is a photo of the 9 dollar 8oz salad. Kinda disappointing considering the 5 ingredient salad could be made at this portion side for about 1.50. Same issue with any sides, the large side of rice is an adequate portion but the price is absolutely unbelievable. Definitely would recommend this place if money is no object.”

“Went here with a friend and the moment we walked in the decor made it feel like you were transported to a restaurant in the middle East. My friend even said she felt like she was eating at her uncle house. (She's from the Middle East). The food awakened flavor palates I didn't know I had. Season to perfection. You can also do Hookah after you finished your meal. (Outside only). 20 minutes after we arrive it became super busy, not sure if they was expecting it because itnlook like the only had one server and one bartender. Had to wait while to be checked on, the only reason why this isn't a 5 stars. Will definitely be back next time I'm in town.”

“The vibe starts with pulsating music, a few seats on the street and friendly efficient team working the take out counter. I love an overflowing Falafael, each bite was full of vegetables with flavors worth chewing and enjoying. Don’t compare this to your traditional, compare it to what you hope is available in the future! I’ll be back for the sweet potato fries!”

“The fries are deliciously overwhelming! The flavor is so good in the fries you can eat the leftovers at home, my first instinct was they could be crisper, irrelevant, the garlic top is worth it! The falafel salad bowl was FRESH. Check out those beautiful drinks!!! Yes, this is a small restaurant, you will love it!”

“I was not very satisfied by my chicken House kabob. It’s enough food but the chicken was ground chicken and it’s flavor isn’t quite that good. It was ok. The lemon chicken was ok as well. I expected more from this restaurant. Each plate costed around $20. Not a waste of money but there are better options. The salad that comes with the meal is pretty good. Mine had green lettuce and nice chunks of cucumber with a decent dressing. Service here is pretty good. The guys at the register are really nice. Meter parking is available.”
