“We are obsessed with this place and can’t wait to go back. Everything we had was super tasty and we are dreaming of it still, they have so many different options and majority of their menu is vegetarian. It’s definitely a place to go with lots of people and share as you want to try as many dishes as possible, it’s perfect for lunch or dinner and you can go more of a lighter or heavier meal. The staff was super friendly and in the summer it’s very nice to be able to sit outside.”

Our service was quite slow as it seemed like there was only one waitress (who was great) on hand for the lunch trade which was clearly not enough. Our food came out before our drinks and we would have had many more drinks had it been easier to get them.”

“Stumbled across this spot the other day looking for food in peckham with vegan options Cozy vibe and it's BYOB with no corkage fee! Staff were friendly and attentive + the food was sensational. We got the falafel mezze with a side of rice + a side of okra stew. The pistachio hummus was insane and the falafels were the best I've had in a while. (I eat a lot of falafel being vegan) 😂 Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside Would deffo recommend - decent price too. Meal came to £21 total and we were stuffed”

“Beautifully decorated place and as someone who loves Lebanese food, it was the perfect place to introduce my boyfriend to the cuisine. The hummus was so so smooth and honestly the best I’ve ever had. We also highly recommend the fresh rose water and mint lemonade! The waiters were incredibly friendly and took good care of us. After we asked for the bill, they gave complimentary fruit and baklava! Will definitely be coming back!”

“Delicious! Excellent tapas to start. Hummus had creamy and unexpectedly crunchy with some toppings. Don't know how exactly the courgette is made but it was damn good aubergine. We (two people) were pretty full with three starters, so the two mains were a bit much but the chicken was equally great — juicy and soft. Missed out on dessert this time but I remember that the Halva Parfait is incredible!”

“One of the best restaurants I've even been to. And best service from Thea. Not only was she incredibly welcoming, she helped up pick the best chicken meat and checked on us to make sure we were ok. Even though it was such a busy Friday evening she kept checking on us and made sure we had everything we needed at all times. Amazing service truly. And Thea deserves a payrise ( just saying)”

“Absolutely fantastic, a great experience. From the moment you walk-in, you are made to feel at home. The setting creates a friendly, warm, intimate environment and the service is excellent. There is no food menu to choose your dishes, you are served a tasting menu with each course a surprise, and what a surprise it is!! We absolutely loved each course; fresh, powerful flavours, just wow!! The main dish shown in the photo, is a rice cake with the most tender chicken and there are also 3 side dishes. It was brilliant. One of the most amazing restaurants we have been too. Great all round and an experience you will really enjoy if you are a foodie. Thank you to the team at Tehran Berlin; we had a wonderful date night evening.”

“My experience at Shams restaurant was nothing short of a disaster. From start to finish, it was a complete shambles. I ordered fries, hummus, and a lamb shawarma, but what arrived was far from satisfactory. The lamb shawarma was served cold, and upon closer inspection, it was evident that the meat wasn't even shawarma. It had a dodgy, weird texture that was completely off-putting. I decided to give this place a chance because it's conveniently located near my home, but I now understand why it's always empty whenever I pass by. The food quality and overall experience were subpar, to say the least. It's truly disappointing to see a local business falter in such a manner. Needless to say, I won't be returning anytime soon, and I wouldn't recommend Shams to anyone seeking a satisfying dining experience.”

“This is my second time but the first time was better than this time as this time my friend couldn’t enjoy her meal as she was looking forward to eat red rice with lamb but she couldn’t eat it this time then instead she ordered something else because the rice was cooked with ghee instead of oil as it used to be. I suggest you should inform/ask your customers if they are allergic before serving them the food. However, Iraqi tea was perfect and okra soup too.”

“A true gem in Notting Hill. The food is incredible, very rich and full of flavour. From starters to deserts, everything was amazing. Plenty of vegetarian options. Best Babaganoush in London. The drinks and cocktails are well presented and tasteful. They are dog friendly. Staff was perfect, as well as the music playlist. Very relaxing. Will go again.”
