Eyüp Merkez, Kalenderhane Cd. No:12, 34050 Eyüpsultan/İstanbul, Türkiye
“Absolutely stunning masjid. Visited on a friday (jummah prayer time) so was quite busy but an hour after salah the rush had gone down. Ziyarah itself is beautiful, where you also get to do ziyarah of the blessed foot print of Muhammed PBUH. I could sit here for hours and not get bored. The peace here was something else”

Kalenderhane, 16 Mart Şehitleri Cd. No:11, 34134 Fatih/İstanbul, Türkiye
“A little known secret off the beaten path, a sacred space that changed from Byzantine Orthodox to Latin Roman church, eventually to a mosque. The footprint in the form of a Greek cross, the structure made of brick and Corinthian columns, Arabic calligraphy sits on a few points on the walls. A rare-find worth a minor detour from Suleymaniyeh Mosque.”
