“First visit to the double tree and not the best experience. To start with a positive the room was comfortable and large and could of easily been a five star if the room fridge had been stocked with the most basic of things. Bathroom was excellent and very clean. While the staff we came in to contact with we're extremely helpful and polite the amenities available were very poor. No room service, no bar except for weekends, very poor selection at breakfast. Not even a basic shop was available and to top it all everything that could be bought either from vending machines or the bar was open we're almost doubled in price compared to the vendors out side the hotel. As for the location where to start? Obviously the hotel can't be moved but I think it should be made clear on their website that it sits directly under a flight path for a nearby military air base. Being situated in the American village is interesting but does take away from the natural beauty of the island. In hindsight I would of preferred something more isolated further up the island. One further point which I feel should be clear on the website. During our stay there were a large amount of American service men staying at the hotel for some reason. While this maybe the norm for the area I would of appreciated it if the swearing between them in conversation could of been kept to a minimum as it's not something I would expect from any family friendly hotel let alone a Hilton .”

“This capsule hotel was exactly what I wanted to experience during my visit to Japan, and I highly recommend it. While they don't provide breakfast, the facilities and service here are top-notch. I suggest opting for the capsule rooms – even if you choose a single room, there's just a minimal barrier, so why not spend a little extra to fully immerse yourself in the experience? Each person gets a private locker, and the bathroom facilities are exceptionally clean, with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided. Additionally, there are moisturizers and lotions available. I noticed a lot of travelers from Asian countries here, probably because of the fantastic value for money. I'll definitely be staying here again!”

“It was used by a man and a woman on January 3, 2024. The staff was courteous throughout. The room had a double bed and was used by two people, but it was spacious and had no inconvenience. I was able to lie down and watch the TV in a comfortable position. The air conditioner was very noisy, and there was only one bath towel and one face towel in the room, which was used by two people! This is the first time I stayed at a hotel where I stayed in a double room and only had one ticket. The bath unit is the narrowest ever. The shower temperature is lukewarm unless you turn it up high. I couldn't eat the free breakfast until 8:30. Since bread is famous, it would be helpful if you could extend the time a little more. At this price, it's the same as an APA hotel, so I'm thinking about it.”

“Location wise it is really near to shin yamaguchi station and also 7-11, however I didn't quite like the choices of restaurants around and often have difficulty deciding on what to get for dinner. I was able to leave my luggage there ahead of check in so that was good. They had nice staff as well. no bottled water provided in room. TV was rather small but had a good range of channels. Pillows were rather flat for me. modern card key but only 1 given. I particularly looked forward to the daily breakfast. It was a nice simple spread daily for breakfast with some variations (like type of bread or smoothies) Their smoothie were great.”

“Our stay was quite okay. The cleaning staff and people at the reception were professional. I’m giving a 1 star because of the strong smell of the second floor because of their kitchen. It’s so dirty smelling that even when the elevator stops at that level, you can smell it from there. We didn’t try to ask about their breakfast also because of it. I hope they do something about it and hire people who takes cleanliness and orderliness seriously.”

“Visited during lunch time. I ordered the daily lunch special of Taiwanese fried rice + ramen (850 yen). Taiwanese fried rice is fried rice with stir-fried chives and bean sprouts, and a lot of ground meat. To be honest, bean sprouts are difficult to eat with fried rice. I regret that I should have just had regular fried rice. . The ramen was a lunch set, so the amount of noodles was small, but it included one thick piece of grilled pork, and the soup was a little salty, but it was delicious while it was hot. As it cools down, the saltiness becomes more noticeable. The interior of the store is stylish and you can order using a tablet. It's progressing. “It was my first time traveling alone and I stayed in a non-smoking single room for one night with breakfast only. I was really looking forward to it because it was very cheap and I could eat salted fish for breakfast, but I was so happy beyond my imagination! There were not just one type of salted fish, but four types, as well as two types of mekabu! I ordered 3 types of salted fish myself and had a second helping of rice. We also had shark fin soup available only on Sundays, and it was a delicious soup that was completely different from the shark fin soup that used to be served once or twice a year for school lunches! The room was of course clean and there was enough space in the refrigerator to store ice packs, which was very helpful. The TV had not only terrestrial TV, but also YouTube, AbemaTV, and smartphone mirroring, which was really nice. Furthermore, if you answered the questionnaire at checkout, you would receive a free gift of Hoyaboya goods. When I answered the question, I was given a ballpoint pen as one of the 3-4 types of goods! It would be no exaggeration to say that I went on a solo trip to go to Hoyabo and shops, and it was a great memory. When I visit Kesennuma again, I will use this hotel again!”
