“The property was clean and well-located, and the staff, particularly in the breakfast area, were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, my AirPods were stolen from my room on the second day of our six-day stay. I reported the incident to the reception desk and provided the GPS location of the AirPods using the FindMy app to aid in the investigation (they were in the outskirts of Guadalajara, far away from the Hotel) The following day, the hotel manager informed me that a member from the cleaning staff had taken my AirPods, claiming to have "found them in the trash" and decided to keep them (the earphones were obviously not in the trash, I don't have the habit of storing expensive gadgets with used tissues and leftovers). I was informed that the thief faced a temporary suspension, and while I did recover my AirPods, the entire ordeal left an sour taste in my mouth. This incident, coupled with the discomfort it caused, led us to opt out of having more staff people coming into our room for cleaning during the remainder of our stay, which was an inconvenience. Our choice of this hotel was influenced by the expectation of avoiding such issues, and this experience fell short of our hopes. Despite the recovery of my property, the inconvenience and disappointment overshadowed what could have otherwise been a satisfactory stay.”

The location is perfect I have the La papaya (a night club) 2 mins away and the city of Huatulco 7 mins away driving distance. “Beware: Bedbugs and horrible service I was given room 311 and after a few minutes in the room noticed bedbugs both on the bed and on the wall. I even brought a dead one to the reception as evidence. The hotel switched me to room 811. After 2 hours I woke up with bites on my hand and also found bedbugs in that bed. I then decided to move to another hotel. The receptionist said he couldn’t do anything but asked me to come back the next morning to speak to the manager. When I returned the next day, the manager first denied the problem saying they checked and that it wasn’t bedbugs. When I showed him the pictures and videos, his reaction was: “So what?” They didn’t issue any refund (I left after only 3 hours in 2 bedbug infested rooms). They didn’t even apologise or look into the matter. Horrible hygiene conditions and absolutely pathetic service. My worst experience in 17 years of travelling.”

I was hot and I turned the fan towards me and the doorman changed the direction without informing me and I was hot. I asked him why he did that and he said the owner doesn't want it to spin. He he . They actually served the food in the wrapper that it came in from the freezer. But the room was great for the price. There must have been a lot of theft in the past because everything is bolted down (even the remote controls). The price of the room is the best part.”
