Wifi is very poor but you can use your own mobile data. “We had a powered site, check in was very easy, site was lovely, shower blocks were clean. The park is very close to the beach, considering the amount of families/children it was pretty quite. We had to leave very early to catch the ferry and staff were very accomodating in leaving the site next to us empty to allow us to hook up the night before. “My wife and I stayed in a cabin for 4 nights. It was just like being home. Cozy, well appointed, and located well to all we wanted to see and do in the Launceston area. We had an issue in the cabin on a Friday night called the after-hours number, and Sandy promptly got onto it for us. We met the amazing Todd, the caretaker, and he sorted out the issue, and of course, Liz, the manager, made sure we were ok. Great team, and thanks for making our stay entertaining and wonderful. Heartily recommend this as a place to use as your base.”

“Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are good, clean, and well presented. It is in the centre of the main town on the island, across from the grocery store and pharmacy, next to the bakery. This is a country town and is generally very quiet. Our room looked over the carpark, I don’t know what the other side looks out to. There's a bistro downstairs as well as the pub. I can't see any lifts, so I don't know if there's accessibility for people with limited mobility. It is a great base for exploring the island. Would happily stay here again.”

“We stayed here in our tent for three nights over Christmas. It is clearly more geared towards regular re-visitors or long term stayers but it served us well. Good location for visiting the east coast. Small grocery shop nearby and a bar and a couple of restaurants/cafes a 20 min walk away. The camp kitchen has kettle, toaster, microwave and hot plates. It is spacious with electric points as well, good for charging phones! Showers were clean, AUD 1 for 6 mins. Also there a laundry facilities. Money can be changed at the office.”
