“Loreena, the receptionist, was amazing. Super helpful and very nice. She deserves a raise! The lady running breakfast in the morning went above and beyond as well! Honestly the whole staff was great. Best I’ve seen in any hotel. The pool was also very clean, the room was spacious, and breakfast had a lot of good choices. Also the 99s restaurant is located right outside.”

“I regret staying at the Comfort Inn Trolley Square and do not recommend the hotel. There was a mouse in our room, evidence of mold, and the room smelled musty. We were woken up on our second night to a strange noise but didn't think to associate it with a mouse, we thought one of our children must be moving in their sleep. The next morning we were packing to leave and found evidence of a mouse chewing through an unopened bag of wrapped Halloween candy bars with mouse poop. After discovering evidence of the mouse, I reported it to the front desk. They were sympathetic and said they would tell their manager. I received a very small deduction to my bill, but no other communication. A $30 refund was not adequate considering the price charged per night. I also reported it when I received their internal feedback request email. I received a response saying that I should have reported it earlier (I couldn't have) and they would have tried to relocate me. I don't feel like this was the appropriate response. There was mold behind the curtains on the wall and in the bathroom on the ceiling. The outlet in the bathroom did not hold the plug when I tried to use it and the hair dryer was falling off the wall. The place is run down and expensive. The breakfast staff were nice.”

“My room was nice. Pretty close to the airport, convenient to the Interstate. Breakfast was good. I totally mixed this hotel up with another one I’ve stayed in recently, so thanks to the owner for bringing it to my attention so I could fix my review, especially since the hotel I confused this one for isn’t even in Vermont.”

“Took our son to Vermont on a college tour weekend. About a 4 hour drive. We arrived at the sunset motel in morris I’ll Vt. Around 11:20 pm Friday evening Nov 3rd. We picked up our key in an envelope, my husband was told no one would be in the office, it was was closed. When we entered the room it was clean however, when we took the bed spread off to check the bedding it was not clean! The bedding had not been changed. The bed had clearly been just been remade NOT changed. We were creeped out at the bedding. It was too late to try somewhere else. we knew no one was around so we slept in our clothes on top of the covers and wrapped ourselves in our own blanket and pillows. The next morning i went to speak with front desk young lady was very nice was told the manager was not in. They came and changed our sheets so we could spend another night. We had an early tour and thought ok we are far away and pressed for time. The manager did come to the phone but refused to speak with me the next day, needless to say our encounter with the manager Sherry was less than pleasant when we did speak. She tried to insist they were changed however, it was clear they were careless and did not change the bedding. I believe they made a mistake and just didn’t want to admit the sheets weren’t changed. We enjoyed our stay in VT. Everyone was nice but this manager just couldn’t admit the sheets were not changed. We have pictures taken upon our arrival at 11:26 pm that evening. Would like to speak with owner but was told by the irate manager not available. They need to compensate for the first night and admitted they were careless and forgot to change the bedding.needless to say It was a long and uncomfortable night. Still waiting to hear from the owner do not want to speak with this woman Sherry again.”
