“Don't stay here if you want a warm shower. They purposely turn the hot water off at ALL times. Even showers early in the morning or early evening are freezing. They turned it back on after lots of complaints but only for a few hours. What a horrible and cruel thing to do to families at Christmas time, especially when you are charging people peak period prices. I will not be staying here again. What a disgusting way to save money. Charge a dollar or something at least to use hot water or use timer showers...but purposely keeping the hot water off all the times is inhumane and just plain rotten. The owners should be ashamed. Talked with a bunch of ladies in the bathrooms about this and we will all never be staying again. Thanks for nothing.”

“A good, yet pricey park in the Clare Valley. Renovations were well underway when we stayed on our powered site. Hopefully finished before long. Amenities were clean but a little dated for the price. Lawns were green on some sites, others were dry and brown. Many caravan sites were gravel only. I seem to remember this park being better a decade ago.”

The location was perfect in every direction for us, IGA down the road, then beers and bars in other locations and so close to Chinatown's great food. The room had everything we needed. We originally had a studio which was maybe a bit smaller but ended up moving to a 1 bedroom executive which was utopia. Overall 5 stars and will revisit it next time.”

“The Sundowner has a relaxing atmosphere, and their staff are friendly. Their menu is quite diverse whether you're a Vegan, Vegetarian or a meat eater they have you covered. The meals taste great and are well priced. They also are one of the rare places with a self serve bay Marie with a fantastic selection of hot and cold side dishes. Be warned, don't go crazy on that as their meals are very generous and you will need a take-home container. If you wish to treat yourself by going out for a meal try the Sundowner you will not be disappointed.”

“Great accommodation. Only thing I would comment on is this; you have gone to the expense of installing a Tesla charger which is hidden on the back of the building. There is nothing to indicate that the space adjacent is for electric cars to charge so consequently people park there and prevent access to the charger. A sign or some paint in that parking space would be an easy fix.”

“5 Stars We are in a campervan. The location is just 2-3 minutes walk to shops and grocery. The lady (Susie) is really welcoming and nice. The Toilet and Washing area are also clean. Laundry and dryer is also free for $34/- powered site. Gray water is located outside the campground, (1 minute drive to public park) but doesn't bother us. Out of all Paid campgrounds we stayed, Bordertown is the most affordable and worth it.”

Kitchen is slightly outdated but also clean and had everything you need. We had rain, but the caretaker said you can walk to the beach from camp.”
