“The room was very comfortable, good size and very clean. The same about the bathroom. The swimming pool has a very good size and the water was very warm. Both receptionists, Ray and Connie, were very kind. Ray recognized my elite status with Best Western, and gave me 2 bottles of water. Roxi took well care of breakfast, which was very complete! The hotel is in very good shape, with the exception of the elevator. The elevator did a pretty scary noise, and it was not working for a few minutes. It needs service. Good and safe location of the hotel. The $100.01 deposit was pending in my credit card for 8 days (it was cancelled after 8 days of my stay).”

Bed and room was very clean, I work in healthcare so I could tell that this place actually does a thorough job cleaning. Bed was comfortable for someone who has serious back issues. There was no elevator, but staff accommodated to putting us on the first floor. Pet friendly, but was not loud at all! Had a nice fridge, microwave and the AC unit worked perfect. “The hotel was not very clean or well kept. There were bugs (ants, I think..) in my room. I travel frequently and this was definitely not one of the better locations I have visited. The patio space was dirty and the seating was moldy. The carpets were filthy and the room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned (other than a quick wipe down) in ages. The cloth furniture, both in the room and in the common areas, was dirty and full of stains. This would not be a hotel I would choose again should I find myself in the area in the future. I will say that the staff was very friendly but that is the only positive thing I can say!”

“An overnight stop from here to there. Chose for pet friendly and price. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. When we asked to change rooms so we weren't next door to another pet family (our dog would have been smelling and searching all night) the change wasn't an issue. Our room was clean. The bed comfortable. The shower had plenty of hot water and water pressure.The hotel needs to be updated! The decor is old and a bit worn. The toilet didn't have a lot of flushing strength. The door didn't always latch so you had to push/pull (in room/hallway) to make it latch which wasn't reassuring. The outside door to building indicated it was locked but you could pull it open without the key card.”

“They say pictures are worth a thousand words,.. well the pictures on their website in this room we got was a big disappointment! The pictures are over a decade old it seems cause the room did not look like the cute room they showed.. when you walk in it didn't smell great, more like a old stuffy room.. every part of the carpet has stains,.. curtains that used to be white are yellow,.. walls bare with no pictures/missing, corner light/lamp did not work. Bathroom hanger that holds towels coming out of the wall.. all 90's old furniture,.. chair was broken and couch had its day. The bed mattress had that dip in the middle causing bad sleep. The kitchen was clean and the tiny bathroom was clean too.. the soap dispenser was empty. Otherwise a great place.”

“This is becoming our go-to hotel for Chicago area travel. It's difficult to find a place for a family of six to stay in one room but we have enjoyed the suites here on more than one occasion. Our 2-Queen Suite has a kitchenette with a full fridge and a true closing door between the room with the sleeper sofa and the room with the queens. That has helped make our stay so comfortable. The bedroom also had a ceiling fan which really helped the room feel fresh. Like any hotel I recommend bringing some kind of air freshener, because scents waft between rooms, and something like a small aromatherapy mister to help add moisture to a dry room. The breakfast was varied and quite good. The omelettes in particular were surprisingly good for the complimentary breakfast fare.”
