“The room was spacious. The toilet paper needed to be folded over about 4 times so it wouldn’t rip. The bath towels were like sandpaper. The room walls and ceiling were not sound proof, barely sound restricting. Was going to award 2 stars, because staff at check-in was nice. But the woman at check out was not pleasant. This was my first and definitely last time at a Hilton property. Recommend stay elsewhere, there are many more, and better options in the area.”

“We traveled from San Francisco in hotels of the same category, and so far, this is the best one we’ve stayed in. The lady who checked us in, her name was Paula, was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and had a pleasant scent, and there was always a coffee and tea corner that you could use all day. The included breakfast was excellent and quite varied, with a waffle maker. In the evening, near the entrance, there were fresh cookies to enjoy. The hot tub and pool were open until 10 PM. Additionally, there was free EV charging available.”

“I went to go visit a friend from out of town. There room very clean and stocked. All employees were very friendly . WIFI connected very quickly. There are local stores close by and good small restaurants walking distance. And just across the street in the plaza, they had a bar that played Mexican music, or if you just wanted to have a couple of drinks with friends. Now the breakfast was great,service was more than what I expected. In some hotels I have been in, do not serve a breakfast menu like at La Quinta on I-10 and McDowell. I had a great stay, and I will be back to stay at that hotel in the near future. I highly recommend this hotel to family and my friends.”

“I just recently took a job in Phoenix at the last minute and on initial review found the Bixby. Much to my delight it was a great venue. The rooms are large the beds are comfortable. They have a pool, and the staff was absolutely friendly and available when apparently I place my key card next to my other cards and it deactivated but with only one call on off hours and I was able to get my keys restored within 10 minutes. I would recommend the Bixby to anyone who is in need of a good comfortable stay in a safe area. Just minutes from downtown Scottsdale. Thank you again Julie and the entire team at the Bixby Hotel!”

Wiped it down myself. The rooms have a microwave, mini fridge, and coffee maker. Breakfast was fairly standard. Highlight of the hotel was one man that worked the lobby in the afternoon. He provided exceptional service. Won't be back here though...”

“I am incredibly disappointed with my experience at this location. After an 11-night stay, I received a call from the housekeeping manager Sherri (claiming to be from the front desk) insisting I leave immediately due to being a few minutes late checking out. She threatened to involve the police for trespassing, which seemed extreme given the situation. Since when does housekeeping call guests to remind them to check out? I tried to explain that I was on my way out during the call. When I went to the front desk to address the issue, Andrew, without any discussion, accused me of threatening his employee, despite never having spoken to her except during her initial call about the police. He went ahead and dialed the police department. The only helpful staff member was a bearded gentleman whose name I don't recall. He assisted me with checking out and apologized for his colleague's behavior. I strongly advise against staying here; my experience suggests they are unprofessional and unwelcoming.”
