“Recently renovated, sparkling clean and 10 minutes from Newcastle Airport, the Fern Bay Motel was perfect for my overnight stay in Newcastle. The new, very comfortable bed and rain shower were added bonuses, as was breakfast in my room. Very special thanks to Samuel for his kind assistance with my travel arrangements both before and once I had arrived at the motel.”

“Besides the location, everything is terrible about this hotel. Even though the prices are fair, there is no communication with any manager of the hotel. They would not pick up the phone so we stood for an empty, closed hotel. The room itself was the worst i have ever experienced with a bunk bed that was completely unstable, falling apart and caused a safety concern. The bathrooms were dirty and not supplied with any toilet paper. The included breakfast was absolutely nonexistent, so dont count on that.”
