Closed until 09:00 AM

MC88+RWW, Dapitan City, Zamboanga del Norte, Philippines

“It is a good place to relax and commune with nature. The dense forest combined with the blowing sea breeze gives the area a cool atmosphere ideal for relaxation and deep meditation. The sound of birds and insects create a symphony calming your nerves and senses. No wonder Rizal had a great time during his exile in Dapitan. The area is well maintained. Grasses are perfectly manicured and falling leaves are regularly removed.”

“We had the privilege of visiting a remarkable historical landmark. During our visit, we were fortunate to witness a significant event taking place – a live mass or religious ceremony was in progress. The combination of this historical site and the ongoing religious gathering added a unique and spiritually significant dimension to our visit, making it a truly memorable experience.”

HXQG+V52 plaza sans luis complex, General Luna St, Intramuros, Manila, 1002 Metro Manila, Philippines

“5 STARS. I RECOMMEND IT. It's very well worth it to go for a tour, which only costs P75 ($1.50 USD) It shows the luxurious mansion of a Filipino-Spanish haciendero during the Spanish Colonial times, very well preserved, and it shows a glimpse of the past. If you're going to Intramuros, this is a MUST SEE. P.S. the cafes and restos on the ground floors are great too!”

“This is a little known museum that I was happy to discover. I am not really a car enthusiast but found this place interesting. I think there was supposed to be a film at the end near the exit but it was not working. I loved seeing the old cars and amazed to find a car owned by Emilio Aguinaldo!”

The family used to live here - the congressman father, the governor mother and all eight kids. You can see that the family was quite well-off with the large house and nice furniture inside. 2nd Floor Filipino Village, Ayala Malls Manila Bay Diosdado Macapagal Blvd, cor Aseana Ave, Paranaque, Parañaque, 1701 Metro Manila, Philippines

“Very overhyped online via good marketing. Hard to learn about the culture with no meaningful teaching. Also there is virtually no food to taste unless you want to buy it on top of the entry fee which is very high! The staff do a great job but the exhibit is tired and leaves a lot to be desired.”

Hagimit Falls

( 8 reviews )

3P8G+Q4W, Samal, Island Garden City of Samal, Davao del Norte, Philippines

“According to the photos it's very beautiful but the illogical local government here, has closed it to the public for over a year now, apparently because "some" tourists were littering. Perhaps if they placed some bins for waste disposal and used the entrance fees to pay somebody to keep the place clean, it may have been a better solution🙃?”

Tejero Highland Resort And Adventure Park
4.1
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 02:00 AM

Taft St, Valencia, 6215 Negros Oriental, Philippines

“Although this is an older water, it's still very fun and relaxing and the children really. It's built next to a river and there are four separate pools. It could certainly use some maintenance like fresh paint and repairing the sound system, it is still worth five stars in my opinion. There are plenty of staff serving people and keeping guests safe. It's worth mentioning there is also a zipline but we did not try it. Maybe next time.”

Snow World Cebu
3.9
( 8 reviews )

6QXX+JW7, Minglanilla, Cebu, Philippines

“Tucked into the back of a small strip-mall about an hours drive from Downtown Cebu is this quaint little amusement park called Anjo World. Within this park is Snow World. Now, I come from the Midwest, and I know cold and snow, but to a Filippina, this is an exotic world! They provide coats (and, for an additional fee, gloves, earmuffs, and shoes, if the ones you wear would be slippery in snow). They provide an adjustment period in the front, where the temperature is about 40F or 2C, so that your sweat evaporates and the Filippinos don't get hypothermia. Then they let you inside to their "winter wonderland" and walk around the two stories, before shooting down their ice-slide. Picture-taking is not allowed, and they have staff everywhere to enforce it. Instead, they will gladly take pictures of you, then sell the prints at the end for 200 PHP each. To a westerner, it is pretty lame. For your Filippina partner, it is utterly fascinating. I recommend it for a date! You pay an entrance fee to Anjo and an additional fee for Snow World for a total of ~1100 PHP per person. They are open Wednesday through Saturday I think.”
