Hermitage Foundation
4.6

Rte du Signal 2, 1018 Lausanne, Switzerland

“Nice cosy museum with well curated exhibits. Spectacular location with beautiful gardens with lakeside views.”

Bioparc Genève
4.6
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 09:30 AM

Rte de Valavran 33, 1293 Bellevue, Switzerland

“Small it might seem, but the BioParc is truly a wonderful place with loads of fun and love to offer! The animals are well cared for and they’re full of stories - some of them are saddening but educational at the same time. I highly recommend booking a guided tour/feeding session. I was lucky enough to participate one, which opened up another dimension beyond the usual ‘zoo experience’. People behind BioParc are passionate and forward thinking. Even as a tourist, I’m left super excited about their current and future projects!”

Riffelsee
4.8
( 8 reviews )

Riffelseeweg, 3920 Zermatt, Switzerland

“It's also a great spot to see the Matterhorn, except when the sky is cloudy. And still the atmosphere around this place is just amazing to hike and enjoy the moment. Recommend this place then you can hike up and down to the next station if you're fit enough!!”

Prangins Castle
4.5
( 8 reviews ) $$

Av. Général Guiguer 3, 1197 Prangins, Switzerland

“Interesting exhibitions in a magnificent 18th century castle. The place is easy to find, the staff is warm and helpful. A memorable tour. Would definitely go back once the garden is in bloom.”

Fort De Chillon
4.8
( 16 reviews )

Av. de Chillon 22, 1820 Veytaux, Switzerland

“This a truly wonderful experience if you are interested in historical sites, especially pertaining to WWII. Not only is the site fascinating by itself but the first lady we met enthusiastically explained the historical relevance to Switzerland and guided us the best way to walk through the forte. It is also very interactive which makes it much more interesting. I could have stayed at the VR interactive game all day to the dismay of my wife. If I did it again, I would have visited the castle and the Forte of Chillon in the same day.”

Rochers De Naye
4.7
( 16 reviews )

1820 Veytaux, Switzerland

“Really enjoyed taking the cog wheel train up to Rocher de Naye. It’s extremely popular due to Santa being there but apart from taking a couple of photos in the nicely decorated tunnel, I spent most of the time outside in the snow. It looks like it’s a great spot for skiing during winter.”

Rossbüchel
4.4
( 16 reviews ) $$

Rossbüchel 416, 9036 Grub SG, Switzerland

“Amazing location and breathtaking views over Constance lake and Germany! Very tasty game options! The prices may be slightly overpriced but it's reasonable since you "pay" for the view as well. Perfect place for an apero on the terrace. I would definitely go back again!”

Staubbach Falls
4.6
( 8 reviews )

3825 Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland

“Lovely waterfall near to the Lauterbrunnen station. Reachable on foot on short trail from station. As you move towards it, you can see the glorious waterfall. Nothing to say much, the picture says it all.”

Musée Omega / Omega Museum
4.8
( 8 reviews )

Nicolas G. Hayek Str. 2, 2502 Biel, Switzerland

“I have been a fan of Omega for many years and have several vintage and modern pieces from their catalog. During a recent visit to Switzerland my wife and I drove to the Swatch HQ in Basel where this Omega museum is located. The exhibit covers a large floor space and there are several areas that have exhibits that are dedicated to specific product lines as well as sections that showcase a lot of their history and historic pieces. This is not a guided tour and you are left to wonder around at your own pace. During our visit we were the only people in the entire space until towards the end of our visit when another couple showed up. While the exhibits and the museum as a whole was fairly comprehensive, I felt it was a bit sterile for some reason. I did not feel any of the "romance" considering the history. Not sure why but I simply did not connect with it emotionally like I had expected to. Even though I consider myself a big fan of Omega. This is why I gave 4 stars. I am still glad I was able to visit. They do have a boutique on the premises if you want to purchase a new piece to add to your collection and to commemorate the visit.”

Basel Historical Museum - Barfuesserkirche
4.5
( 16 reviews )

Barfüsserpl. 7, 4051 Basel, Switzerland

“Great museum with amazing collections and interesting installations, with some interactive media, too. Helpful staff. Would love to visit again”

Cabaret Voltaire
4.4
( 8 reviews )

Spiegelgasse 1, 8001 Zürich, Switzerland

“It's a pity that a place with such history and charm is now used by families as a kid's (and dogs) play area. Staff were excellent, even when a group of seven decided they had a right to take up half the café and smash some of the artwork.”

Zürich Tram Museum
4.4
( 8 reviews )
Open until 06:00 PM

Forchstrasse 260, 8008 Zürich, Switzerland

“Nice museum with a decent variety of displays and an upstairs section with some miniatures and dioramas. Some placards and descriptions are in English which is good for tourists. The museum is a nice, inexpensive and fascinating visit for anyone interested in trams and railway tech. You can walk through some of the trams, and ring the bells on them which is quite cool. There's some play areas and a small interactive tram for kids. At the time we were there, very few of the upstairs displays were interactive and there were not a lot of placards offering information. It's not a terribly diverse or large museum so it may not be the best stop for tourists only visiting for a day or two, unless you're really interested in Trams specifically. Staff are super nice and seem to be passionate about the museum.”

Restaurant Le Chalet Des Bains
4.3
( 8 reviews ) $$
Closed until 12:00 PM

Rte des Bains 42, 1892 Lavey-les-Bains, Switzerland

“Very good service, welcoming and lively staff, very successful cuisine! The fondues are definitely worth the detour (haven't tried any other dishes), and the desserts too. The setting is just as successful, completely in keeping with the map. A big thank-you !”

Les Grottes Des Roches Grises La Lamberta
4.6
( 8 reviews )

1789 Mont-Vully, Switzerland

“An interesting place to explore and cool down when it's hot outside There are picnic tables near some of the entrances, so ideal if you want to have a family get together and let the children run around the tunnels. There are no lights, so bring a torch, or use your phone torch.”

“Unbeatable view. Incredibly pleasant to spend an afternoon here, enjoying the view and indulging in great food. I assume its nicest during the day. I had fish and my partner had chicken, they were both great. There r some steep roads here so easiest to get there with a car.”
