“It is a free museum to visit. They have English guide pamphlet, too, to help you understand the exhibition. There are many volunteers (i guess) roaming around the area of traditional houses of fishermen's town. You may enter all the buildings except for the staff office. You may open all the drawers inside the buildings, too. If you can speak Japanese very well, the volunteers usually will approach you and explain the exhibition you are approaching. Very helpful and informative. I really like this museum. Especially since you can get here by taking the osanpo bus or bus for sightseeing, for a cheap price. Recommend to go on weekdays because of the small size of the bus.”

“The facilities and location are good, but most of the employees are foreigners and their Japanese is difficult, so I often couldn't understand what they were saying. He wasn't very attentive, and when we were eating, he would try to put down the dishes even while we were eating, and we were forced to set meal times, so we couldn't really take our time. I know they're trying hard, but they're paying 100,000 yen for two people per night, so it's not that quality of customer service. As for the service, since drinks are free in the lounge, I think it would be nice if they would also be free when eating. The geta used to move around the building are difficult and unstable to walk on, and can be dangerous as they tend to fall over many times. Did the person in charge wear this to check it? “The lightly pickled Chinese cabbage (gozzori) was very delicious. A male employee put his hand in his mouth I saw him take something stuck in his teeth and spit it out over and over again. I thought the hygiene was the worst because they were carrying the food without washing their hands. Other dishes were average. I gave it a ☆ because it was hygienic and dirty.”
