“Apparently this is the best used BD store in Paris. I did find a book I've been looking for for decades. Staff told me exactly where I could find it. Great prices. This is their other location which is relatively close to the other one with the crotchety old guy running it. See my other review of that location. Lots of vintage BD books. I do speak French which helped. They even had a signed Jack Kirby serigraph of the Fantastic Four. Sadly, not for sale.”

“Very interesting, quirky, charming museum in the manor where Rosa Bonheur lived and painted with the women of her life. The guided tour is interesting and the guide was very available to answer questions. Some of the objects would benefit from greater explanations though. I highly recommend the brunch in the glasshouse: served in unmatched antique crockery, each ingredient is fresh, tasty and seems highly local when possible (fresh cream, yoghurt, scones..) - with a special mention for the salmon gravlax and the delicious tarama. Take time to explore the garden and wooded area, very evocative of times past.”

A really nice selection of both loose and pre-packaged dice in many colours and styles. Plus a great many more other games to choose from. Nice shop.”

“The cuisine was excellent, thoughtful, and inventive, with pleasant service and a nice ambiance. We were really enjoying our experience... until I found a piece of broken glass in my meat. Fortunately, it ended up in my mouth and not my gums, or else it could have been much worse. I promptly handed it to our waitress, who looked horrified and hurried off to the kitchen. She returned with a message that the kitchen "didn't know where it came from" (as if I was interested in that!). None of the chefs from the kitchen came out to apologize. The cost of the dish was removed from the bill, but our mood was spoiled. It's a shame, but I cannot recommend this place.”

Baccarat, the Cristal Room, the museum, the shop, the stairs, the bathroom, the elevator, all the exceptional decor and blingy blingness of this place. Decadence for the price of a breakfast in Sydney. You can have a delicious lunch for two for $100 in the most beautiful of surroundings. Also the woman who runs the boutique is CHARMING beyond measure and loves her job and Baccarat. The history is one to behold as well. Go, just go.”

“Delightful old water mill housing a museum dedicated to its most recent owners, writers Elsa Triolet and Louis Aragon. Nice grounds and outdoor sculpture park, large exhibition space with itinerant art exhibitions, plus of course the house itself. Grounds alone can be visited for €5 per adult or grounds plus guided house tour for €9.50 (2019 prices). Our guided tour by Lucas was exceptional. Interesting, animated, knowledgeable and enjoyable. We spent nearly 3 hours on site, ending with a cup of tea at the tea room and a quick trip over the Japanese bridge to see the historically-classified "bal parquet" i.e. yellow and blue moveable dance hall! A very enjoyable afternoon indeed, well worth the trip. Check opening dates and times as not open all year.”

Walt Disney area was great and so was Disney Park... Not cheap but really enjoyed ourselves”
